Somewhere deep in the Emerald Forest there is a small campfire going, lighting up the small area around it, while also keeping the occupants warm from the chilly night air. Sitting around this campfire are three people; Adam Taurus, Blake Belladonna, and Sarah Snow. Blake and Sarah are sitting on two stumps, while Adam is pacing back and forth as he thinks of a plan to raid a train full of valuables that could help the White Fang and keep it alive. Sarah is staring off into space when she see's Blake shiver out of the corner of her eye. She grabs a blanket out of her bag, then tosses it to Blake.

Blake: *Surprised* "Are you sure you don't want this?"

Sarah: "No, you have it. Training my semblance has made me pretty impervious to the cold."

Blake: "Oh...well, thanks."

Sarah just nods, not long after which Adam stops pacing.

Adam: "I think I have a plan, but I'm gonna go collect some more fire wood and mull it over. Don't go anywhere, I'll be back."

Adam walks into the forest, leaving Blake and Sarah alone. After a few minutes, Blake stares at Sarah with a hesitant look on her face.

Sarah: "What's on your mind, kitty cat?"

Blake: "First of all, I told you not to call me that. Second, can I trust you with a secret?"

Sarah: "Of course you can, Blake. We only grew up together after all."

Blake: "...I plan to leave the White Fang. Adam is becoming violent, which is in-turn making the White Fang violent. I don't support the way we're fighting anymore. It's not what the White Fang is supposed to be."

Sarah: "You aren't the only one. I'm gonna leave during the raid on the train, then probably head to Vale and find a spot to lay low until the Beacon school year starts up again. I've already got a spot secured for myself there."

Blake: "Can I come with you?"

Sarah: "Sure. I can't guarantee that you'll get into Beacon though, cause you'll have to pass the entrance exam."

Blake: "Is their any way for me to prepare for it?"

Sarah: "Nope. Changes every year from what I heard."

Blake goes to say something, but stops as she see's Adam standing by the fire, an angry look on his face. Adam drops the fire wood in his hands and pulls his katana out from it's sheath.

Adam: "So, you plan to run away? Well, that's too bad, cause you won't get the chance!"

Adam swings his katana down at Blake, who closes her eyes in fear, but never feels the blade slice her. She slowly opens her eyes, realizing that she's extremely high up in the air and being carried by Sarah bridal style. She looks up at Sarah, only to see that her left eye is cut and bleeding profusely.

Sarah: "Stop giving me that guilty, worried look. I've been through much worse."

Blake: "How could I not? Why would you take the hit for me?"

Sarah: "You're my one and only friend, kitty cat. Can't let anything happen to you."

Blake: "You could go completely blind in that eye, Sarah."

Sarah: "If that's the case, then I'll still have one good eye."

Sarah smirks down at Blake, with Blake looking up at her in confusion.

Sarah: "Trust me, Blake. Everything'll turn out alright."
