Loxodonta here and this isn't a story. You may have read my works, but what you may not know is that I've been an artist from early childhood. Figured it's time you all saw what I do in my free time. Hope y'all enjoy!
I drew this one the night before CC season 5, inspired by that one memorable scene from HTTYD. One of the things I enjoyed about the show is that it succeeds where the JW movies have failed (no offense, still enjoy them) by giving the audience a feeling of empathy for the dinosaurs, especially the carnivores like the Baryonyx trio and Big Eatie the T-rex. I enjoyed how the Baryonyx lived in this tight knit family group, something that was, until then, largely unknown in the carnivores minus the Velociraptors and Comsognathus. In Big Eatie's case, she wasn't depicted as a mindless killing machine governed by instinct, but an intelligent animal who deeply cares for her offspring and knows who her friends (or at least mutually respectable acquaintances) are, but doesn't let you forget that she is still a dangerous predator who could kill you on a moment's notice.. Needless to say, I'm really pleased with how it turned out. In other news, I'm very excited about the upcoming JW: Chaos Theory sometime next year...
