If you've read my story The Lost World: Jurassic Kratts, then you probably know about the inclusion of a new member of the Wild Kratts team. Enter: Laura Wilkinson, an African-born ranger who's a lot tougher than she looks. Educated from a young age by her game warden father, zoologist mother, and late uncle Robert Muldoon, Laura is street smart and knows all there is to know about the African bush. She is also trained in various African martial arts and weapons, making her a very formidable opponent. Fierce towards her enemies, loyal to her friends, and always ready for adventure, Laura met Martin when he was wandering the bush alone. Months later, she joined the Wild Kratts team after a mission to protect Tsavo East's elephants from poachers and has been a member of the team ever since. Hair color: Blonde Eye color: Blue Place of birth: Kenya Occupation: Wildlife ranger Languages: English and Swahili (and several other African dialects) Likes: Animals, the outdoors, creature adventuring, making new friends human or animal, hearing and telling stories, chocolate Dislikes: Poachers, anyone who threatens her friends or harms animals, dishonesty Weapons of choice: the shotel sword, Hunga Munga throwing axes (2x), and wooden staff Voice Actor: Grey Griffin Love interest: Martin Trivia: Laura was inspired by the character Kitty Carlo (also named Laura Wilkinson) who had shapeshifting powers, allowing her to change into any animal. She was created by fanfiction author SilverWaterBombadil and based on Martin's real life wife.
