Chapter 1

"You are here by expelled from the Ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry." Your head master says.

You knew it was coming even though it wasn't even your doing, well it was but it wasn't your fault, you were just standing up for yourself. There had been this group that have bullied you since your first year here and usually you just take it but they took it too far this time.

You may have lost control for a second, just a second and cursed one of the students, sending them to the infirmary with... exceptional damage.

You were in your last year and you made one bad decision, just one yes but quite a big one and have found yourself now being expelled.

Sitting in the headmasters office taking in the news, just trying to figure out what was going to happen now, your headmaster speaks up again.

"You have two options Ms. L/n, either you say goodbye to your schooling days...or...I have reached out to other schools to see if any would be...willing to let you finish out your last year with them." He says.

"You did?" You ask.

"Yes I did, only because I do know you are a truly gifted student Ms L/n and while I am not allowed to let you finish out your schooling here, I do not wish to see your education suffer and I do not think one incident should define your life." He says.

"Thank you Sir...so, did I..get "accepted" anywhere?" You ask.

"Indeed you did, I sent out your grades and explained that you are one of the most talented witches of your age I have ever met...I also explained the incident and one schools headmaster was more than happy to take you in, he too believes one act should not define a person." He explains.

"Oh okay." You say slightly surprised but also great full. "So which school is it?" You ask.

"Well...that's the thing, the school is called Hogwarts." He says.

You look at him confused, you had never heard of this school before.

"It's in Scotland." He says.

"Scotland?!" You say utterly surprised.

He nods.

"How would I even...sir, I don't have the money to just go to Scotland." You say.

You unlike most students didn't have parents to pay for everything for you. You are practically an orphan. You never knew your parents and you've lived at this school since you were old enough to be a student. Your headmaster was the closest thing you had to family which is probably why he's allowing this.

"Don't worry about that Y/n, it's taken care of, the flight and enough money for essentials whilst there." He says.

Did he?

"Sir...you didn't have to.." you say.

"I wanted to y/n you deserve to graduate and live the life you desire, so if this is something you would want.." you don't even let him finish.

"Yes sir I do, I can't thank you enough." You say.

"I thought you might say yes so I.." he reaches down and pulls out a briefcase. "Already have everything you'd need...besides all of your personal belongs you will have you collect from your room."

You stand up and grab the case from him, once again thanking him and giving him a hug. "So..this is it?" You ask.

"Off to Hogwarts you go, there is a plane ticket in the case for tonight, best be on your way." He says.

"But sir...how will I even know where to go?" You ask.

"Ah yes thought you might ask that, inside that brief case is also an address to a train station and instructions on how to...get through, im sure you'll...figure it out." He smiles.
