♬ A grateful heart ♬

In the dimly lit chamber,Jimin slowly stirred, consciousness tiptoeing back to him like a hesitant visitor. The pain was the first thing he registered—a relentless ache that seemed to have claimed every inch of his body. He winced, trying to move, but his muscles protested, each attempt sending surges of agony through him.

He became aware of his surroundings. He was lying on a soft bed, the sheets cool against his skin. He could hear a distant crackling of a fireplace, providing a comforting warmth. And then, a familiar presence—a gentle hand on his arm.
"Master," a soft voice spoke, laced with worry and care.

He turned his head slightly to see Hyuri, his loyal maid, watching over him. Her eyes were filled with concern and relief as she met his gaze.

his body aching and sore, he found himself in a grand chamber unlike any he had seen before. The opulence of his surroundings left him both awe-inspired and bewildered.

"Hyuri," he stammered weakly, his voice barely above a whisper, "w-what happened? And where... where am I?"

Hyuris eyes reflecting worry and relief.
"You're in the King's chamber, Master."

He tried to process this revelation, his mind still foggy from the pain and the lashes he had endured.
"The K-king's... Chamber?" he asked, astonishment coloring his words. Hyuri nodded gently.
"Yes, master. He intervened when he saw the injustice you were subjected to. He believes in justice and couldn't bear to see you suffer like that."

Jimin felt a mix of emotions, gratitude mingled with surprise and a tinge of fear. The King, a figure he had never interacted with before, had shown compassion and intervened in his favor.

"The King..." Jimin stammered, struggling to comprehend the situation, "Why would he...?"

"He values fairness," Hyuri explained, her voice calming. "He wants the truth to come to light."

"Why did he do this for me?" Jimin asked, a mixture of awe and confusion in his eyes. Hyuri offered a reassuring smile.
"Because he believes in justice, master. And because you deserve it."

Jimin's brows furrowed in confusion and pain. He is not able to understand why the King did what he did.

"Hyuri, where is the King right now?" Hyuri, understanding Jimin's concern, spoke gently. "He's in the court, master, He's seeking justice for what was done to you."
Jimin's almond eyes widened in shock and gratitude. He never expected the King to take such decisive action, especially considering they were practically strangers. A rush of appreciation and warmth filled him. "He's doing that... for me?"Hyuri nodded, smiling softly at Jimin's genuine astonishment and gratitude. "Yes, master. He's determined to ensure justice prevails."

Jimin was overwhelmed by a sense of gratitude and the desire to express his thanks to the King. Despite the pain he felt, he knew he needed to convey his appreciation.
"I... I want to thank him. I want to meet the King."

Hyuri gently placed a hand on Jimin's arm.
"Master, I understand, but the King ordered me to let you rest. He will come to you once he's done. Please, rest. I'll wake you up when the King arrives."

Jimin nodded,  he wanted to personally express his gratitude to the King for standing up for him. He lay back, wincing from the pain but with a grateful smile.
"Please do, Hyuri. Wake me when he's here."Hyuri nodded, giving Jimin a reassuring smile.
"Rest now, master.I'll make sure to wake you as soon as the King arrives."Jimin closed his eyes, the events of the day swirling in his mind. Gratefulness and hope filled his heart, He needed to regain his strength for the upcoming meeting. With a grateful smile, he settled back, allowing himself to rest, the gratitude for the King warming his heart.
