Taking a Chance

I woke up to find myself back in the mindspace. K.O. was still fully out unfortunately. I was curious about what had happened, so I took a very small chance... This would be risky, but K.O. did promise never to lock me up again...

For just a moment, I took control of K.O.'s body in the real world. Peeking one eye open, I found myself on the couch back at home. What even happened??... I sat up, feeling pain in my head. I rubbed that painful spot for a second before realizing Mom was right beside me.

"How ya feeling, peanut?" She suddenly paused, realizing this was T.K.O. and not K.O. She looked a little nervous.

I couldn't say anything, but I knew full well why she was nervous with having me in control. She'd seen me at a low point, but she'd never seen me at my worst, and she had no idea what that could possibly look like. Little did she know it looked like depression... I just leaned against her, thankful for her presence here. She blinked, surprised for a moment, before her expression softened and she started to run her fingers down my hair. I didn't even realize the headband was already gone.

She breathed a sigh of relief before speaking again, "I'm just glad you're okay." She smiled, somewhat snuggling closer to me.

I took the chance and gave her a hug. Her warmth gave me comfort, it was nice being in the real world again, where I wasn't completely alone.

"You look so tired," Mom noted.

She was right, I was very tired. I still didn't know what had happened, but I knew I didn't wanna be alone again. I snuggled closer and felt the pull to want to sleep. It didn't take very long until I did fall asleep.

I was back in the mindspace, now with K.O. Since I'd taken control, K.O. had been forced into the mindspace and was laying on the floor, still hardly moving. I stepped closer, worried for him. I gently nudged him, trying to get him to wake. "K.O.... K.O.?" I nudged him a little harder. Finally, a response-

He slowly woke up, seeming pretty out of it. He wobbled a little as he tried to stand up. I helped him up, knowing how bad that felt. He groaned, probably due to pain. "T-T.K.O.?"

I smiled at him, then pulled him into a tight hug. I was so glad to have him back again. We'd been passed out for quite sometime, so it was nice to be conscious again with K.O. He seemed surprised by my gesture, but returned the hug nonetheless. Strangely enough, he pulled away from the hug and immediately left the mindspace. I gave a surprising little whimper as he left. I was alone again...

I figured he might be concerned about his outside body and wanted to check and see where we're at, just as I did. Wait-...

Imagine writing a silly lil Wattpad fanfic at school, hehe. Anyway, after the many other silly fanfic's I've read, I decided to give this story a bit of an interesting twist. You'll see when i get there. >;3
