In love with my boss

SARAH'S POV

It was a monday morning and I was preparing for work, I intern at one of the biggest publishing company down town and it was my second day at the office, I didn't want to be late so I hurriedly prepared and walked out of my room.

I had a flatmate Emily, she was the sweetest thing ever, and she was of much help to me in every way, before I came out she had already prepared breakfast,

"you are such a life saver" I said to her,
after seeing the breakfast she prepared for me.

she gave a smile, and replied, "what can you do without me??"

"Absolutely nothing" I said and we both laughed,

after eating I hugged her good bye and ran out of the house, took a quick cab to the office.

But before getting to the office I had to go to the coffee store to get coffee, I had to stand in the queue, just when it was my turn to be attended to, there was this guy that came out of nowhere, stood in frontof me to get a coffee, although good looking, he was also very handsome, he was 1feet taller than me he was light in complexion and had beautiful brown eyes,

My blood boiled as he cut in front of me, he didn't had to stay in the que to be attended to like the rest of us did, he just came out of the blues to get a coffee after I have being on the que for like some minutes,he just overtook me like that,

I was so surprised at the way he came,

"it isn't right to overtake someone like that", I said,

"just because you are good looking doesn't mean the world revolves around you", I continued to talk to him,

"it is very rude and disrespectful to just come to the front line from nowhere without seeking permission or taking excuse." I attacked him.

"Excuse? from who please??" He said,

wow what a rude and disrespectful good looking young man, I said to myself.

"since you have no manners" I said to him "I don't think I'm going to allow you have your coffee before me.

"Really??" he said.

"Yes really", I said with a smirk on my face as I grabbed the cup of coffee on the table and gave a devilish smirk.

All he did was stand there and looked at me, He smiled and then turned back to the attender,

"its fine she can have her it", he said,
and then I paid and left for the office.

Getting to the office I saw Jenni, Jenni was my first friend at the office, she was the sweetest and nicest person I know in the office, she welcomed me with a cool hug ,

"how was your night", she asked,

"my night was ok", I replied, "and yours" I asked,

" it was short", she said,

"Why is that ", I asked,

"because I went for a party", she said,

and then started filling me details about how the party went, she told me how cool and fun it was.

"who goes to night party knowing fully well they have work the next day??" I asked,

"I do" she replied,

and then I gave her a sacastic look,

"what?? She said, "I'm just trying to have fun here,"you should come too" she continued saying, " you should come later tonight there are people I need you to meet and moreover bby girl you are single, you need to come out more often", she said with a puppy face,

"I'm going to think about it", I said,

"there is nothing to think about" she replied " you are coming and that's it". I said,

"How is your morning going?" she finally asked,

"Not fine ",I said,

"What happened",she asked,

I began to tell her everything that happened at the coffee shop this morning before getting to the office.

"Hahaaha",she laughed,
"didnt he collect your number atleast to hook up with u later", she said,

"Do you think I'm joking?" I asked giving her a bad eye.

"I'm sorry but it's kind of funny", she said
"thats how some of these cute guys behave, they believe that just because they are handsome they can charm anyone with it, especially into doing what they want".

"My point excertly", I said, with a little consolation in my voice,

She just consoled me and told to calm down, that just because I had a bad morning doesn't mean the rest of my day today was going to be bad, she just cheered me up,and then she said

"that is why you need to come to that party today",

I just smiled at what she said, and then she said to me,

" sweetheart I'm heading to my desk but before I forget the boss requested to see his new intern and I'm sure that will be you",

I just gave her a smile and then she left to her desk.

I started working yesterday but I was not opportunied to see my boss yesterday, I was told he had a meeting and won't be able to make to the office, I just stood up, and started heading into the boss office, and then I knocked on his door,

"come in", he said,

just before I entered his office I adjusted my skirt and dressed properly, just when I opened the door, I got the biggest suprise of my life, the guy I talked to rudely, this morning at the coffee shop was my boss.
