Ch.6 We finish each other's sentec-nope

The rest of the day I avoided Jake. (Btw I found the cutest pic of lanie so I had to put it in) Lanie and lance were upset that I just walked away. But, lanie got her revenge because we had a new seating chart, and a substitute, so lanie erased Morgan's & Jakes spot and switched them around. Since it was the first day of the new seating arrangement she got away with it. Then she couldn't help her self and witched herself and zack, so she could see me and jakes spots perfectly. I hate/love her. So when Jake came over to sit by be I got worried. Lanie just gestured that I talk to him. I was so happy that she switched social classes so now we have Math, and social, but I hate her

But I couldn't he is the one guy I can't talk too, every time I even think of him I lose my words. I never know what to say. After Mara I became friends with mostly guys & Lanie, but jake for some apparent reason I just can't say anything.

So the entire class was me, my MP3 player, and my headphones, untill one got rudely pulled out right when I was listening to a good rap song. Then I just looked to my left to see who took my earbud out only to find out it was jake.... I was like great now I'm gonna sound like an idiot. He just looked at me said "sorry." And continued to talk to ME! "what you listening too." Then I said sarcastically "Talor Swift." With a confused face he said "really?" Then I felt stupid and rude and replied back " kidding, I'm listening to Bad Suns now" then he smirked "what else do you listen to?" Then I replied with a tiny smile "um, Melanie Martinez, bad Suns, Kanye west, misfits, I'm kinda everywhere when I listen to music" then he said ,totally off topic "I know I'm failing at trying to start some kind of a conversation but since we have to sit by each other for a month, thought maybe we should get to know each other, maybe, kinda?" I just laughed "you're doing just fine at starting a normal conversation." I said still smiling. His voice was so hot, it was low and every word sounded like a song. But after that we just awkwardly talked about how boring social is.

Then after class Lanie ran up to me saying "you're welcome!" With a proud grin on her face. Then we went into the bathroom, and I had an anxiety attack. When she saw my face drop right as I walked out of the class room she knew an attack was coming so we walked to the bathroom, she texted her mom to wait to come pick us up. As I told her everything about jake and how I can never talk to him, and when I do it comes off rude and how I don't know what to do with my life. She was just there listening she never stopped telling me "you're coming with me, your mom isn't gonna hurt you anymore." As I cried my eyes out freaking out, shaking, panicking, I finally came down from the attack and we left to go to her house.

In the car her mom asked me if I wanted to stop by my house to pick up more cloths since I had very little, I told her with a sorta smile " thank you , but no thank you. I don't have anymore cloths this is all I have" then Veronica, Lanies mom just smiled and said " okay sweetheart"
