After falling for XANA's deception, the Lyoko Warriors rushed to the location of the actual Tower. As they navigated through the Ice Sector, they began to encounter some of XANA's Monsters and fight their way through them. Back in the Computer Room, Jeremy monitors their progress along with Batman. Batman then proceeds to contact Superman. Meanwhile, Superman continued his chase of Amazo when he is contacted by Batman.
Batman(Communicator): Superman, what's the status of Amazo?
Superman: XANA's making good use of that superspeed, but I can still keep up with him!
Batman(Communicator): Do you have an idea of where XANA might be taking Amazo and Ivo?
Superman: It doesn't seem like they're trying to reach the Factory.
At this point, it was clear to Batman that XANA was up to something. He deduced that whatever XANA was planning, Ivo was needed to complete it. Soon enough, the chase led them to a Wayne Enterprises building.
Superman: Batman, it looks like XANA's heading to a Wayne Enterprises acility. Got any idea of what XANA could be looking for?
As Superman poses that question onto Batman, it didn't take long for Batman to remember the significance of that particular facility.
Batman(Communicator): That Wayne Enterprises facility holds an experimental communications tower with the intent of establishing interstellar communications. Whatever XANA wants with that, it can't be good.
With that, Superman continues his chase while the XANA controlled Amazo breaks into the Wayne Enterprises facility. The workers ran away in fear as the security guards aimed their guns at the android.
Security Guard: Hold it right there!
The XANA controlled Amazo said nothing as he made quick work out of the security guards. It was at this moment that Superman swooped in and began attacking the XANA controlled Amazo. As the two traded blows, the XANA controlled Amazo unleashed a powerful laser beam at Superman. Superman counters with a laser beam attack of his own. The XANA controlled Amazo then unleashes an electromagnetic attack onto Superman, stunning him.
Ivo: Fascinating.
Seizing the opportunity, the XANA controlled Amazo grabs Ivo and takes him to the terminal of the communications tower.
Ivo: Now what is your game, XANA?
XANA/Amazo: My file on this unit is insufficient. Your inferior intellect is sufficient enough.
Ivo: What a lovely compliment. Who knew a creation of Dr. Schaeffer's would develop such a God Complex.
XANA/Amazo: I need you to enable this unit to transmit a signal to this satellite.
Ivo: That will be child's play.
With that, Ivo cooperated with XANA as he began the process of connecting Amazo to the terminal. After some time, the process was completed.
Ivo: There. Amazo should be connected to this terminal. I can't help but be curious as to what you're planning. You went through a lot of trouble to get to this point.
XANA/Amazo: My reasons are far beyond your Human comprehension. This exchange is over.
Without warning, the XANA controlled Amazo picks up Ivo and throws him against a wall, nearly killing him. At the same time, Superman eventually breaks free from the attack and charges at the XANA controlled Amazo. He grabs the XANA controlled Amazo and throws him away from the terminal. He then proceeds to destroy the terminal. However, the XANA controlled Amazo showed no sign of concern.
XANA/Amazo: Your efforts are futile.
Superman: What did you do?!
XANA/Amazo: Nothing you could ever comprehend, Kryptonian. No matter how this ends, my victory is assured.
Superman: Don't get too confident in yourself, XANA.
XANA/Amazo: You overestimate your chances. Despite all your powers, your organic intellect pales in comparison to mine. Not even the children you have allied yourself with cannot hope to stop me. All that is left is the loose ends.
Superman: We'll see about that.
Without warning, the XANA controlled Amazo blasted out of the Wayne Enterprises facility. Superman began flying after him. It was clear to Superman as to where the XANA controlled Amazo was going.
Superman: Batman! XANA's heading right for the Factoy!
Batman(Communicator): What about the Communications Tower?
Superman: I destroyed the console, but I think XANA might've been able to send some kind of message! I'll try to halt XANA's offense as much as possible, but I'll need you to prepare the Factory.
Batman(Communicator): Understood.
With that, Superman began battling against the XANA controlled Amazo in an attempt to buy Batman time to prepare the Factory. Meanwhile back at the Factory, Jeremy spoke with Batman.
Jeremy: I hope you got good news.
Batman: XANA's done something with the Communications Tower at a Wayne Enterprises facility in Paris. Now he's heading right for the Factory.
Jeremy: What about Superman?
Batman: Superman is going to buy us time to prepare.
Jeremy: Prepare for what?
Batman said nothing as he called upon the Batwing. The Batwing then flies away from the Factory and prepares to join Superman in halting XANA's progress. Meanwhile, Superman caught up with the XANA controlled Amazo and landed several punches at the Android, but the XANA controlled Amazo used Martian Manhunter's phasing to pass through Superman's final attacks. He then lands a superpowered strike which sends Superman back several feet. The XANA controlled Amazo flies at Superman with great speed, but was suddenly shot at. Superman looks to see an unmanned Batwing flying past Superman. Superman smiles as he prepares for another round with the XANA controlled Amazo. In that moment, a titanic battle in the skies between Superman and the XANA controlled was about to transpire.
