The Kaneshon Arts and Science. A university college specializing many majors in the fine arts and science field. After two months of summer, Iteijyu and Mabaru return back to school in their casual clothes. Iteijyu wears a blue hoodie, a black beanie, a teal shirt, light joggers, and black hi-shoes. Mabaru sports a green scarf, a yellow jacket, a white shirt, and brown pants. The warm wind scruffles Mabaru's scarf as they both walk past many students.

"Most of my classes aren't far off from yours, Iteijyu." Mabaru comments. He pulls his phone to go through his schedule one more time.

"We're both in separate buildings. Sucks you have a night class tomorrow. A lab until eight o'clock? I can't deal with that." Iteijyu complains.

"It was the only class I got! Professor looks alright. That's what I got from a website I read."

"It's okay. It's weird I have to go to an electrical company for my class."

"AC Current huh?"

"Yeah. It's one of the biggest electrical engineering companies to train students. It's a lot of hands-on and construction work. This might be fun."

"When do you start Iteijyu?"

"Tomorrow. I have my electrical lab today in the morning. But, enough about that. Check out the booths here! Looks like they're holding a fair. Come on!" Iteijyu swings his hand and looks through each poster board.

The student plaza they arrive at is packed with many tables of clubs and organizations. Groups of students arrive at different activities such as writing, dancing, and culinary arts. Two English students greet them with different books filling the table with horror, autobiographies, and discussion about gaming. One of the students talks about their creative writing. Iteijyu listens to her love of horror and poetry as they go through each book synopsis. Mabaru walks out with an exclusive bookmark of the reading club and Iteijyu with small candy and a physical, digital art by them.

Among the different stands, there is a stage significantly propped near an intersection of the plaza with the flat grass. Up on the podium is a tall, dark, gray fox breed in a business suit who is giving a welcoming speech.

"It is a pleasure to meet all of you. My name is Minoru Haruta. I am part of the Department of Safety and prime minister of Kyoto. I want to congratulate every student admitted to Kaneshon. The university will continue to work with campuses and businesses to build upon the ongoing eclectic knowledge for our students. We commend everyone's commitment to their accomplishments."

The whole crowd claps in unison. He organizes his stacks of papers and discusses his next topic. He clears his throat with his hands and gives a moment to organize his thoughts. Mabaru and Iteijyu look at him in awe. An important person came to Kaneshon to welcome them. Minoru seems to care for everyone's well-being.

"Today, I want to acknowledge a prevalent issue happening around the campus and Kyoto. It has come to my concern and the Department of Safety there is an unknown group appearing at night time. We have worked with the police department to implement safety precautions. A safety maintenance update was held a couple days ago to update the security of our phones. We apologize for any inconvenience that happened due to the slow connection. Please be updated on your student emails and campus security."

"Minoru!" A random student with a hoodie calls his attention. "I heard the cult was passing drugs around Tsubaki Street. Is that true? Some of them even went here!"

"We have received reports from dorms and other areas where the drug has caused an influx of poor hygiene. Officers are now investigating the issue." Minoru answers.
