9) Muzan's POV :

In that village, Muzan was eventually able to find an okay looking house.
Everything seemed fine from the inside of the house and outside.

Luckily, the owner of the home was old and unloved, as it seemed that she was the only one in the home.
So Muzan was easily able to kill the lowly owner in cold blood.

Even making tea out of that old woman, adding to the insult.

Muzan quickly did everything he could to make the house look nice and well taken care of.
He didn't exactly know why, but he wanted to make everything perfect.
He'd usually never do these things, but for Kokushibo.. It was an exception I suppose.

Alright, that should be enough for now.
Kokushibo should arrive right about..

K : "Lord Muzan?"

Just in time, as expected from my uppermoon 1.

Just act as you usually would Muzan,
He is just here just to apologize.
Nothing more.
No worries, the chances of the situation escalating would be slim.

After Muzan told Kokushibo his exact location, be was surprised to see how quickly Kokushibo was able to find the room.
He was surprised, but still impressed.
He caught himself almost staring at Kokushibo on accident multiple times, thankfully, it didn't seem like Kokushibo took notice of that.

There was a slight misunderstanding with the kneeling down things, but Muzan wasn't really hung up on that anymore, thankfully.

Suddenly he saw Kokushibo step closer to him, but this time, he didn't back away.
He wasn't as scared of the idea of Kokushibo being close to him anymore, so this didn't really bother him.

K : "Lord Muzan, I wanted to apologize for.. What happened."
"From the last few meetings."

"As you can tell, I've bettered myself and I'm listening to you."

"From the previous 2, I'll make sure such incidents never happen again."
"My apologies for everything."
"It would be an honor to receive your forgiveness, Lord Muzan."

M : ".."
"I'm not sure if that's possible."

K : "Oh.."
"I understand that you won't forgive me, but.."

M : "But..?"

K : "but, I'll make sure I'll never have to apologize again."
"I'll better myself more and more, I'll make sure this exact situation doesn't need to happen once more."

"But, for that to happen, I think I need to be alone for the next few days, or years."

M : "..?"

This isn't supposed to happen.
Kokushibo was supposed to apologize and be done with it, not.. Leave me.
