"H—How did you find me?" Esme questioned, her voice trembling as her heart raced, the energy of her powers swirling within her.

"Let me in, Love," Lucian murmured, his tone laced with an urgency that sent shivers down her spine.

There was an edge to his voice, a depth of longing that she couldn't ignore.

"Please," he added, the plea almost reverberating with a dark hunger that awakened something primal within her.

Esme's mind screamed rational thoughts as an overwhelming urge to invite him in clawed at her instincts. But before she could reign herself back, the words slipped out: "Come in."

Without hesitation, Lucian crossed the threshold, his presence filling the room like a storm.

He was a force of nature—tall and lean, with muscles honed by centuries of existence, his skin a warm, alluring shade that contrasted starkly with his jet-black hair.

His beauty was otherworldly, sculpted by an ancient hand, yet there was something darker lurking behind those blood-red eyes.

"My love," he breathed, a reverberation of delight mixing with something more sinister, and Esme felt her breath hitch as he stepped closer, her back pressing against the cool wall.

"You are as breathtaking as I remember," he said, a hint of something possessive coloring his voice. As he drew nearer, she instinctively retreated, but there was nowhere left to go.

"I know you do not remember the day we met, but the wait has only deepened my desire," he said, reaching out, his fingers brushing against her arm, igniting a fire that coursed through her veins.

Esme gasped, her senses heightened, golden light flickering around her as her powers responded to him.

This wasn't just attraction; it was an electric connection that buzzed in the air between them.

"Stay calm, Esme," he urged, but the tension crackled, impossible to ignore. "You must learn to embrace this."

As Lucian leaned closer, his lips hovered by her neck, just above the mark that had once burned her.

This time, his touch sent waves of heat cascading through her, a siren's call that both terrified and thrilled her.

"Oh God," she gasped, feeling every pulse of her heart quicken, an unbidden desire rising within her.

Lucian inhaled, the scent of her arousal filling the space between them, a dark temptation that tugged at his primal instincts.
