Protection Contract: A High & Low FanFiction: Hiroto Amamiya Focus

Chapter Two

Waking up holding my chest while heavy breaths came from me. Groaning while looking over at my phone, 4am it read, causing another groan to sound from me. Sitting up running my hand through my hair before getting up. Walking into the bathroom looking at myself in the mirror.
     My eyes bloodshot and swollen, my face a light shade of red, my lips chapped, and my hair going in all directions, causing a sigh to escape me. "I look horrible," I muttered while turning on the faucet. Splashing my face with water before washing it with some soap, drying it off before grabbing my brush. Quickly I brushed out my hair before sighing again. "I need a change," I muttered aloud to myself.
    Walking out while stripping off my clothes, tossing them to the side. Slipping a black hoodie on with some ripped gray jeans, grabbing my phone, wallet, and keys before leaving. Driving with no direction in mind, just letting the car take me wherever it leads. Stopping on a bridge getting out looking over the river, while breathing in the night air. Looking to the side seeing Ice standing there staring at me, before turning and looking over the water as well.
   "Didn't think I'd see you here of all places," I stated while glancing over at him. "Rin told me you come to bridges when you need to think," He replied glancing at me. "Take care of my brother, he might not see me as family anymore, but I don't want anything happening to him. If something does, I'll kill whoever hurt him. Then I'll come for you," I stated while letting out a sigh.
     "He only joined cause he wants to make music and live a good life,"He replied. "Yet that good life is partly being funded by Kuryuu, the very people that killed our parents. Or did you not tell him that," I spoke while walking over to him. "I didn't even know that, much less Rin," He spoke staring at me.
      "Ice, if anything happens to Rin. I promise I'll kill you," I stated slapping his arm. Clicking his tongue before letting out a breathy laugh looking at me. "You've changed, yet you're still the same as before," He muttered giving me a smirk. "I'm a lot different now Ice. I've had to do things I never wanted too," I stated while leaning against the railing.
    "I promise I'll keep Rin safe. But you have to keep yourself safe in return. He might not show it right now, but he still needs you," He spoke giving me a glance. "If anything happens to me, don't tell him. I don't want him going through the pain he did after our parents. I don't want to be the reason for that pain," I stated, whispering the last part.
    "What are you planning?" He questioned looking at me with a raised brow. "You'll know when the time comes," I muttered before walking away. "Don't die," He called to me, before leaving as well. Getting in my car driving off again as the sun was coming up. Stopping at a beauty supply store going inside getting green hair dye, and a hair razor, paying before leaving.
      Throwing my bag into the passanger seat as I took off back to my office. Getting out with my things after a few moments, heading inside and right into my bathroom. Putting my things on the counter before tying up half of my hair, looking in the mirror letting out a breath. "Time for change," I mumbled while picking up the razor. Turning it on carefully shaving the bottom half of my hair, to give myself an undercut.
      Once that was done I took the rest of my hair down before getting the dye out. Putting on some gloves before taking a handful of dye, running it all throw my hair. Once I was done with the dying part, I cleaned everything up before sitting on the couch waiting for the dye to set. Taking out my phone seeing messages and calls from Hiroto.

H💕: Hey are you okay? 06:00
H💕: You weren't at home. Where are you? 06:10
H💕: I'm worried about you. 06:20

     Sighing before pressing on his number listening to it ring a few times before his voice filled the line. "Where the hell are you!?" He exclaimed from the other end. "The company," I whispered taking a deep breath. "Are you safe? You seem off," He commented.
     "It's time for a change," I sighed before ending the call. Quickly I packed up a few changes of clothes, and things I'd need before going and washing out my hair. Brushing it out before tying it up into a high ponytail. Once I was done I grabbed a piece of paper that simply said, I'm sorry I'll fix this, before grabbing my things and leaving.
     Getting in my car taking off towards the cemetary with my mind stuck on Hiroto, but also the people that killed my parents. Stoping the car getting out, going over to the grave with a sad expression. "Hey mom and dad, sorry it's been so long since I've come to visit. I'm doing okay and today I'll fix everything. I'll make sure your killers pay for what they did, and that Rin stays safe, and far away from all this. No matter what it takes. I love you both, goodbye," I whispered aloud before going back to my car.
     Once I was in I noticed Ice park behind me stepping out with Rin. Rin glanced at my car before walking over the the grave, Ice on the other hand knocked on my window causing me to sigh.
     "What do you want?" I questioned while eyeing him. "I want to know my childhood friend isn't going on a suicide minssion," He rasped while staring me down. "I'm going to fix everything. It's time for a change. This bloody trail will end with me, Rin isn't to get involved," I huffed before driving away. Taking a deep breath as I drove to the place I dreaded going the Kamizono-kai mansion. Sighing before picking up my phone calling Cobra.

"Hello?" He answered.
"Hiroto will probably come to you to have Noboru help him track me down. You can't help him no matter what, I can't let him find me right now. This is me calling in that favor you owe me," I stated quickly.
"Are you doing something crazy?" He questioned with a hint of knowing in his voice.
"I'm getting revenge for my parents. I set up a meeting with one of the nine dragons of Kuryuu a few days ago. Today the meeting will happen, and I'll have my revenge," I stated while making a turn.
"That's a suicide mission." He deadpanned before sighing.
"Then call me suicidal," I hummed before ending the call.

Today it ends with me no more bloodshed, no more loss, just me and them simple.
