It was the afternoon glaze, intensifying the heat of summer, Aman was watching people from his clinic window, sipping his hot coffee, observing children riding their bicycles dressed in school uniforms, mothers taking their kids home, and those little kids dangling their hands holding their monther's, talking through the path about their day,

A man tired from his work was under the shade of a big tree, resting for some time, Aman could see him resting his eyes a bit, trying to enjoy the breeze, and the never-ending line of vehicles was going crazy in the mid-traffic, everyone is going somewhere lost in their mind, but all of us are still together while drinking coffee in this summer heat felt like a needy indulgence for Aman,

He sighed watching the life outside of his clinic, watching everything sometimes felt so surreal that we all together living different lives, but the goal was the same working to make a living, earning not to just survive but also to live, which gives us the purpose of life,

Privileged people like him were unknown and known at the same time of the struggle for survivors, as a doctor he can do all in his limits to help them so that they can also get to enjoy life just like him, A thought of to start a free health check-up campaign was getting persistent by each day,

A knock on his door disturbed his thoughts, Aman turned around to see a nurse informing him that now it was time to see patients, he nodded at her and said to let the patients in, Aman was holding up his phone when a young couple walked in, he put down the phone to attend to the couple, and as the couple greeted him they gave him his file,

"Congratulations Parineeta you have conceived," Aman said with a smile on his face after reading their reports, watching the couple's faces brighten up instantly, the moment that all parents crave,

"Thank you so much doctor, it's such splendid news, thank you so much" her husband expressed his gratitude towards Aman, his eyes were filled with tears holding his wife's hand who was also very emotional, while Parineeta was still in a daze but watching her husband face a wide smile comes on her face, reflecting their emotions swirling in their teary eyes,

"That's alright, Parineeta you have to be very cautious in these initial days, you're only 2 weeks pregnant, and until the first trimester we have to be very careful about your physical and mental health, Any stress can harm the baby" Aman was pointing out every precaution to the couple for the successful pregnancy,

As they were discussing everything, Parineeta's husband Kunal hesitated to speak something, he signalized Aman to come a little closer, Aman frowned a bit but did come closer,

"Doctor, can we do that?" Kunal asked Aman with an unsure look trying to find the correct word, Aman instantly realised what he wanted to ask, but just to make things fun for him, aman said

"I didn't get what that means?" Aman asked him with a slight frown,

"That-that doctor, you know... " Kunal makes faces at Aman so that he can understand, Aman still wants to enjoy the show so he innocently nods in denial.

Parineeta who was watching her husband's antics was slowly getting embarrassed by his behavior, she pulled him towards her and whispered

"what are you doing, what will the doctor Think of us?"

Kunal felt wronged not only by Aman but also by his wife, so he quickly whispered in her ear his question, and in an instant, Parineeta's face turned red, she kept shushing him but the husband-wife banter was going on endlessly,

Aman who was watching them was biting his lips to refrain from smiling, he was patiently waiting for them to finish and finally, they stopped, Kunal with a satisfied smile nudged Parineeta who was looking a bit flustered,
