Standing by the kitchen door, ashima was watching aman silently, he was taking out the coffee powder, and putting it in a container, ashima sighed and walk up to him, she stopped his hands which were in the process to make coffee,
She held his hands, aman was looking down all the time, but he didn't say anything to her, he was just there, ashima caressed his cheek and said
"Go sit at the dining, I will come with dinner" looking at his face carefully, trying to observe his state of mind.
"Hmm," aman nodded and slightly squeezed ashima's hand, he was grateful that she was with him, someone is with him, he doesn't have to be alone facing these types of situations where he is disturbed emotionally, mentally and Physically
Being a doctor, it's common for him to see very critical patients, and watch their deaths, but that doesn't make him heartless, every time every patient died aman unknowingly feels guilty, thinking that he didn't try his best, but at the end, we can't do everything,
Sometimes you just have to let it be, no matter how hard you try, if there's something is meant to happen, it will happen, and nor he can do anything or anybody else,
Ashima was quick to make some rice and a few rotis from leftover dough, she heated the daal and sabji for him, setting everything on the dining table, ashima come back with a washed cucumber,
Aman was serving himself when ashima sit left him, she put some curd and a pickle on his plate, and aman was eating simple daal chawal like he haven't eaten in ages,
There was just silence between both of them, since he came home, ashima noticed he was a bit disturbed and tensed, as ashima was putting sliced cucumbers on his plate, aman hold ashima's hand and looked at her,
"What do you think about children?" Aman asked with a heavy heart, hoping her answer is different from what he was thinking.
"What happens? Why you're asking this suddenly?" Ashima was startled by his question, seeing his face, it was filled with worry and fear.
"Just answer nha please" aman so intended on asking her, but he didn't realise that his voice becomes shaky and his hand was tightened around Ashima's.
"I would love to have one for myself" ashima answered seeing aman whose face had fallen hearing her answer, he did know she would answer something like that, but he still can't wrapped up his mind and heart around this.
Aman sighed, and he continued to eat his dinner without saying anything, ashima was seeing all this keenly, she knew he is disturbed about something, but she choose not to talk and let him eat peacefully,
Aman finished his dinner by licking his fingers at the end, he didn't say anything but his actions spoke louder that the food was delicious, a small smile appeared on ashima's face, watching him eat gave her a sense of satisfaction, doesn't know what it is but she just felt like that...

Holding his hands ashima led him to her balcony, and made him sit on the couch there, she sits beside him, with kushu in her arms, she looked at aman, who was looking at the moon in deep thought, ashima sighed and puts her head on aman shoulder,
Ashima and aman both were looking at the moon, shining so brightly, the moonlight was falling on them, the sky was filled with stars and clouds, some birds were returning to their nest,
Both of them think so but no one says anything, waiting for each other to say something, one was waiting for questions and one was waiting for the answers,
Aman closes his eyes, he rest his head against ashima, holding her hand, sometimes caressing with his thumb, ashima looked at him, his frown was still there, she forward her hand to move hairs falling from his eyes, caressing his cheeks softly, ashima asked
