"This is y/n my daughter she will train you," janson says, pushing me into the room.

"Ain't she a little young," a tall girl with dirty blond hair said.

"No, she is probably better than all of you anyway. y/n meet Joel, rio and lora."

There was defining silence. I didn't want to be here, so I'm not gonna lie and say nice to meet you or pleasure. Na, just silence is good for me.

"So.... when do I start?" I say as the silence started getting awkward.

"Tommorow, but for now, come with me," janson said, pushing me out of the room towards a hallway.

Mabye working for w.c.k.d would actually be a good thing, no going on the run being hunted down, being protected by people around you. And as much as I hate janson for everything he has done, he is still my only living family.

We walked down a long hallway, janson tried making conversation, asking how I was and more, but I dont want to have a conversation with him at the moment.

"Sit down," janson said, opening the door to a room that looked like an office. It had a moden design and big windows with a view of the last city.

I nod at him and take a seat on one side of the table.

"2 things one is a contract you will sign to is to make sure you haven't forgotten why w.c.k.d is good."

"Alright," I said, nodding, trying to stop myself from rolling my eyes.

He opens a draw next to the desk and pulls a piece of paper and pen out. He slowly pushes the paper to the other side.

I read through the paper, and it said that I agree to follow the orders of ava and janson. I agree that w.c.k.d is good and that they are working for a good cause.

I picked up the pen and signed the paper.

Janson stood up and circled around the table to stand behind me. I stayed staring out the window, waying out the positive and negatives. It was like a war in my head knowing it's wrong, and it would hurt thomas, but it'll keep me alive.

I pulled out my thoughts when I felt a hand run along on my shoulder with a possessive touch. I struggled his hand off.

"Oh, come on, darling, don't be like that. You can be my right-hand man again. Joe is doing terrible," he voice was soft and relaxed.

"I'm gonna kill you," I mumble under my breath. Luckily, he didn't hear what I said.

Then, I felt a needle prick in my neck.

"Oww, what was that for," I said, holding my neck and standing up to face him.

"Fine print, I taught you better than that," he says with a stern voice.

"What did you do?" I queston.

"It's a chip. Don't worry, it's just a tracker," he turns around and walks to the door. "Oh, and did I forget I can control you by using that. I could put you on mute, maybe even kill you."

I gulped and rubbed my neck, locating the chip.

"Are you coming? we still have part 2 to do?" Janson shouts from down the hall.

"Ummm yeah.... I'm coming," I say back.

As I walked down the hall again, catching up to janson, I looked into the rooms. There I saw minho. I tried to avoid eye contact. But I could feel his disappointment staring on the side of my face whilst he sat there weak.

Janson opened a room with a metal chair in the middle and a big screen in front of it. It looked like a room you would use for torture. All walls were black. The room was empty except the screwed down metal chair.

Janson gestured for me to walk in. I walked in, and he closely followed, shutting the door behind us.

"What's this?" I asked, looking around the room, scanning for a way out, or anything, which is a threat.

"Just sit, and you will see," he said.

I slowly took a seat on the uncomfortable chair, and the screen turned on.

On the screen were images of the flare and cranks. In the background, ava paiges voice played. "The world has been scorched by the sun, and soon after, a deases broke out we as the world catastrophe killzone department promise to find a cure and save humanity."

I turned to janson in the corner of the room, "this chair is uncomfortable, and this video is giving me a headache."

"Oh, look at that. Let's test my new toy," janson says as I watch him pull out a tablet.

I watched him press buttons, and I felt like my body wasn't my body anymore.
My body slowly turned back to the screen. I tried to turn or move my arms, but I couldn't move a muscle. I open my mouth, ready to talk, but no words come out.

"That's better," janson says with a smirk on his face.

After 5 minutes, the video ended, and janson pressed a button. I slowly gained control of my body.

"Well, that was weird and annoying," I said, frustrated.

"Doesn't that mean you will behave for once," he said. I roll my eyes as he walks out of the room.

I soon after stood up and exited the room. When I looked out the room, I was greeted by ava smiling at me.

"So.. what do you think of w.c.k.d?" She questioned.

I looked into her eyes. What was I supposed to say shit, stupid, should burn to the ground.

"Is this where I'm supposed to say w.c.k.d is good?"

"Yes, now follow my I will escort you to your room."

I follow her to an elevator and wait for it to stop. "I hope you except the job like you used to," ava says, breaking the silence.

I nod, then look down as my feet waiting to enter the elevator.

We enter the elevator and move down 2 floors to the 5th floor. We step out and walk to the same room from earlier.

The room had a metal door, which is expected because I did betray them, and I have not gained full trust.

"Everything you need is in those draws. Breakfast is at 8," ava said as I stepped in.

She shut the door behind her, and the door locks. Damn what have I gotten myself into again.
