The next morning Iris woke up with mixed feelings, she was very anxious but at the same time she was excited to see the galaxy again. All the planets, stars, constellations... Iris loved space and everything that was related to it, it gave her a deep sense of peace.

After packing her last few things in the numerous suitcases she decided to go , but not before giving her room one last glance, she knew that she would miss this place. All those thoughts roamed through her mind while she observed in detail her home, all the paintings, objects and furniture that gave her a wonderful feeling of comfort. Iris stopped in front of the large portrait of her family. She looked closely at the two adults, the red-haired man, embracing his beautiful fair-haired wife in expensive clothes and adornments, holding a little baby of perhaps nine months of age with big blue eyes and a few almost-white locks on her head. The portrait expressed perfectly the love that Palpatine had for his wife, looking at her with shiny eyes as she smiled at the lovely baby in her arms.

Iris suddenly turned her head to the sound of her father's voice that called from the corridor. "Good morning, Iris, I see you did manage to wake up early today. -Said Palpatine laughingly, remembering how difficult it was for Iris to get out of bed in the morning.-" Saying goodbye to the house before you go?" he asked, sitting beside his daughter and embracing her.

"Oh, father!" - exclaimed Iris. "I have this feeling that I'm not going to come back here for a long time or never! And that worries me" - confessed Iris while she turned around and with the help of her father carried the suitcases upstairs to the rooftop of the mansion.

Palpatine turned to notice the concerned look on her daughter's face and said," Don't worry, my child, these feelings shouldn't be ignored, but it's something that you don't have to be disturbed about now. You can distract yourself with the idea that you're going to Naboo and spend a safe and enjoyable summer" - Palpatine said, trying to cheer Iris up.

That helped Iris to relax a little and so the time of saying goodbye arrived. Iris tried to find the right words, said: " Father, I'm going to miss you so much, I promise I won't do anything reckless, I swear." Iris smiled and hugged her father tightly.

"Come on, Iris, the spaceship is waiting for you." Palpatine said, letting her go, opening the door. "Iris, take care, and most important don't let anyone know about your training", continued Palpatine, following his daughter into the polluted exterior of Coruscant.

"Of course, father, we'll keep in touch." Iris said, leaving her childhood home behind her.

Iris stood on the rooftop of her house, from where she could perfectly see the whole city of Coruscant and thousands of vehicles that flew in the city sky. In front of her stood a big spaceship, where some of Palpatine's guards were waiting for her to arrive. Iris walked quickly into the interior of the ship and greeted everyone, while some of the guards stored her luggage in some compartment. She decided to sit in one of the armchairs and continue reading the book she started some days ago.

Later that day, when Iris and her crew were in the open space, she decided to take a quick nap. Due to the hour gap between the two planets, Iris woke up just in time to see that they were crossing the orbit of Naboo. A beautiful green planet filled with wildlife and splendid architecture, with the features Iris remembered of the trips that her family made some years ago. Some minutes later Iris confirmed that her memories were true, she always wanted to go to Naboo to breathe the clean air, to sit by the beautiful lake the Amidala sisters had nearby their palace or to walk through the dense and green forests surrounding the castle grounds.

Iris awoke from her trance by the time that the spaceship had landed inside the castle hangar, where all the most luxurious ships were being taken care of.
