ava's pov

MATT LEFT AROUND 4pm so we both had enough time to get ready. currently it is 5pm; i still have to shower, do my hair, makeup, and pick an outfit. i walk into my bathroom, starting the hot shower. as the bathroom gets steamy i start to undress.

getting in, i first grab my shampoo, lathering it in my hair to insure it's all washed. i scrub my scalp with a hair massager, then rinsing it out.

i twirl the condition through the ends of my hair, washing away all the product left. once i finish washing my body, i get out of the shower, wrapping myself in a towel.

i blow dry, and curl my hair, now running to pick an outfit. i pick out a burgundy dress. we are going to a fancy-ish restaurant downtown, and i know we should probably dress up. i do minimal makeup, and spray some perfume.

knock knock knock

i rush to the door, opening it to see matt in dress pants, and a white button up.

"wow- you look beautiful." he blushes and so do i, smiling widely.

"thank you.. ready to go?" i ask, as he nods placing his hand on my waist. we go down the elevator, walking out to the car.

"alright, i'll call chris and see if he's on his way yet." he dials his number into the car, and the loud ringing fills the comfortable silence.

"what up bro?" a voice calls out from the speakers.

"hey chris, were on our way now. are you two there yet?" he asks turning left onto portia avenue, where the restaurant was located.

"yea we just sat down, is elijah and nick with you?" he asks.

"yup.. we're here now. bye" matt says, and hangs up the phone.

"wait, why did you tell him that elijah and adriana were with us?" i asked, confused on why he would lie about that.

"oh, so they don't know we're dating. when we show up they'll be confused why it's just us, and we can tell them and have dinner." he explains his plan, and it was a pretty damn good one. i hadn't even thought about what they would think if we told them that it was just us together. this way it hides the secret, that will soon be told.

"smart" i say, smiling as he parks the car. he giggles, and i can't help but think how adorable it was.

as i go to get out of the car, matt is already on the other side, opening the door for.

"wow, what a gentleman" i laugh, as he bows playfully at my presence.

"you look so beautiful." he says, and i blush, my cheeks turning a soft pink.

"oh shut up" i grin as we walk into the restaurant, seeing a lady standing behind the counter.

"hello, we have a reservation under matt, it should be a table for 4."

"oh yes, we've already seated the first 2, follow me." she says, grabbing 2 menus and walking over to wear chris and rayna were sat.

"hey guys!" i say, sliding a chair out and sitting down. matt does the same, and rayna and chris are giving confused glances.

"uh- where's elijah, and adriana?" rayna asks. elijah and rayna are siblings but they both live alone, so elijah wouldn't have saw rayna get ready, and ask why he's not getting ready.

"about that.. we have something to tell you." i say back, and i can see the point when rayna realized what's happening.

"oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!" she squeals, as she looks back and forth between me and matt. chris' mouth is dropped and matt's face turns red.

"we're dating.. surprise!" he says, shyly smiling at their reactions.

"no fucking way, finally!" chris practically shouts, immediately regretting it because now everyone's eyes were on us.

"chris!!" matt whisper-yells, hitting him on the arm.

"sorry- it's just, everyone has been shipping you two forever." he laughs, as matt looks shocked.

"huh?" matt asks, dumbfounded.

"yea, even mom and dad." he laughs harder at matt's face. i laugh and rayna joins in.

"hello, my names anthony and i'll be your server today, can i get you started with some drinks?" the waiter, anthony, asks.

"i'll have a pepsi, please" chris asks, looking through the menu.

"sorry, we only have coke products here." anthony says calmly.

"shit, okay i'll have dr pepper."

once we're all finished order drinks, the waiter leaves, giving us some time to look at their menu.

"oh my god, they have chicken alfredo." matt says. all the food here sounds so good, but i decide on getting the regular spaghetti with garlic bread.

the waiter comes back, and we all order our food. chris and rayna decide on sharing a pizza together, and we keep chatting a lot, saying anything that comes to our head.

"alright i've got chicken alfredo for you, spaghetti and garlic bread for you, and finally pizza." the waiter places down are food and leaves.

"this looks so fucking good" chris says, picking up a slice of pizza and placing it on his plate.

eventually, 7pm rolls around and i explain that i would be hosting a sleepover party tonight.

"should we go back home and get our things?" rayna asks, and i nod.

"yea, you can come over around 8pm, and i think we're going to tell the others about our relationship now." i smile.

"prefect, see you soon!" chris says, holding the door for all of us. me and matt walk to the car in comfortable silence.

"alright, ready to get the house ready?" he says, getting in the car, and turns to face me grinning.

"yup!" i grin back at him.
