I always have this weird dream from time to time......
I was near a garden, kneeling down and picking up a flower to smell it, smiling at its lovely sent. I then looked up at the stars, the stars that sprinkled around the sky like crystals against the darkness of the sky. In front of me was what looked like the earth.
I then felt something, or at least someone, touch my head, it were a flower in my hair. I turned to see who it was but their face was blurry and all I could tell was that they had long blond hair that was up in buns.
"There, now you look even more pretty!" She said and I smiled at her "You are too sweet, Serenity!" I said as we both laughed.
"Serenity, Princess———!" We both turned to the source of the voice, it was Serenity's mother, Queen Serenity. She was planning on showing her daughter something? More importantly....was I a princess in this dream?
"Well, I guess this means I have to go for now, ————." She said as she stood up and you did as well "Don't worry, we can always hang out together again next time!" The girl said with a smile and her friend nodded. She waved goodbye as she and her mother left, leaving you to stare up at the stars once again...
You slow sat up, your (h/c) hair a mess as you rubbed your eyes and shut the alarm off. "That weird dream again...just who is that girl?" You said as you stretched your legs and arms out.
You calmly washed your face, fixed your hair, put on your high school uniform on, and walked out of your room where is was oddly quiet. "That's weird, where is Mamoru?" You said out loud to yourself as you saw that there was a plate of breakfast on the table with a note?
"Here is your breakfast since you refused to get up when I tried waking you up. Next time don't stay up all night reading manga or you will be late to school!"
You rolled your eyes while crumbling the paper and tossed it into the trash "As if I will be late! Does he really thinks I'm stupid or something?" You mumble as you sat down to eat your meal . . . . . . "I'M LATE FOR SCHOOL?!?!" you shouted as you shoveled the rest of breakfast into your mouth, grabbed your bag, bento, and shoved your shoes on "I swear I am going to replace that man with a new older brother!" You said as you rushed out the door. As you were running, you heard someone shouting about being late to school too. You turned to see a blond haired girl in her middle school uniform running alongside you "Late to school too, huh?" You said to her with a smile and she looked at you "I'm always late! My teacher is going to be mad at me again!" She said with a frown as tears formed in her eyes.
You shook your head "I feel your pain, my stupid big brother left me without trying to wake me up properly!" You said panting while also keeping focus on running. Soon, you two had to make separate ways "Well it was nice running into you! Good luck with your teacher!" You said, waving at her as she did the same, eventually disappearing from your sight.
-meanwhile at school-
"Ms,Chiba! I'm surprised that you, of all people, are late for class!" Your teacher scolded you as you held your head down, feeling your cheeks heat up from embarrassment. 'Yup! Really going to yell at Mamoru when I see him after school!' You angrily thought as you were allowed to go sit down instead of standing out in the hall and just looked out the window as the teacher started the lesson for the day.
After school you sighed "That was a bad start to the day but at least Mrs. Yuno let me off the hook. Ugh! I swear if I see that idiot, I'm going to kick him!" You mumbled as you walked back to the apartment you shared with him. In your thoughts, you saw something moving out the corner of your eye, turning you saw a black cat with red eyes and a crescent moon on its head...was following you?
"Aww, so cute! Hello kitty cat." you said as you knelt down and held out your hand for the cat to come out "You are adorable. Were you following for some pets?" you smile as you pet the cat, who purred from your petting. Looking at the crescent on its head, something about it made you wonder if you had seen it before.
You shook your head from the thought and waved bye to the cat, not knowing that it continues to watch you as you walked away.
"Maybe I should go snack on something before going home? I do have to study for that test next wee..." You thought as you walked but then accidentally bumped into someone "Oh! I am sorry, I wasn't looking where I was....YOU!" You shouted and pointed at the man you ran into who was your brother, Mamoru. "You are such a jerk! Leaving me alone to be late for school!" You glared at the ravenette but he just rolled his eyes "Well maybe if you didn't let your friends give you a manga to read last night, you wouldn't have been late" he said with a smirk as he placed his sunglasses on and continued to walk.
You glared at your brother 'That's it, I'm kicking him!' You thought as you quickly walked up to him to give him the kicking he deserved when all of a sudden a ball of paper hit him on the head. Your eyes widened slightly as you walked up to him while he removed the paper from his head and opened it, it was a test paper that had the score of 3o?! You looked at the failed score and over to who tosses it "Oh it's you from this morning" you said as you walked past your brother and to the girl "Surprised to see you again" you said with a smile. The girl, who now turned around after hearing your voice, had a shock expression.
"Ah! You're the girl who was complaining about her stupid brother!" She said as you laughed slightly "Yup! Speaking of 'stupid brothers'...." You trailed off as you and the girl turned to Mamoru, who was now looking at the paper "A 30? You should study harder, Bun Head." He said as the girl got mad at him and snatched the paper back "That's none of your business!" She said while also sticking her tongue out and walking away annoyed "Whats with him?! I can't believe it!" You heard her mumbling as she walked away.
You turned to glare at your brother as he was staring at that jewelry shop "You really are so immature, Mamoru. Picking on a middle schooler? That's sad." As you walked closer to him "Hello?....didn't you hear me?" You said as he continued to ignore you, focusing on a jewelry store.
You rolled your eyes and huffed "Fine..whatever! Just ignore me!" You said as you began to walk away but stopped when you felt like you stepped on something. You looked down at your foot to see it was a broach, on it was silver with a blue mark on it, tiny yellow stars scattered around it and a white lining to it.
You looked around to see if anyone was around but there was nobody 'Where did this come from? It wasn't here when that girl walked away..' You thought as you placed the broach in your skirt pocket 'I will just give it back to the person who lost this, they might be looking.' you thought as you continued on your way, not aware of the fact that this moment will change your life. ////////////////////////////////////////////
Ok! This was the first chapter! I hope you guys like it. I do have two others saved up but I would like opinions on what you guys thought of this before I continue on.
