Surprise Chapter: (Y/n) and Yoshiro becoming friends?

(But seriously, that's so wrong for a college student to date a middle schooler, I get that things were different then for the anime but that's still fucked up)

It was sometime during the evening, school was out and you was at a park that Ami mentioned before. You looked around and smiled, the spot was so nice and serene, the faint sound of a bird chirping could be heard as the wind blew gently, making some of the leaves and flowers move.

"Now I can see why Ami likes this place. It's so beautiful and put together so nicely" you complimented as you watched the few fish in the lake swim by. "Why thank you, young lady" a voice called out, you immediately turned to see a nice man smiling at you "It is always nice seeing someone appreciate my hard work tending to the flowers and trees here" he said, removing his hat, then frowned "It is just sad that soon, all of this beauty will go away. The landlord sold this park for a building complex to be made here."

You frowned at this information "That's terrible! This is such a beautiful park, to tear it down would be so sad" you told him but the man just shook his head "I appreciate your love for this park young lady but there is nothing I can do to save it." He said sadly as he placed his hat back on his head and walked away, leaving you to watch him walk, sad that there was nothing that you could do to help

The next day, you were ignoring your friends over the stunt that they previously pulled "Y/n! You can't still be mad at what we did last week? We said sorry!!" Serena begged to you as you continued to ignore her, looking out the window. You were not actually mad at the three but more so was being in your own thoughts about the situation "I wonder if Yoshiro is here today? Wait! Why should I care if he is or not?!" You thought to yourself, not even noticing that another student tried catching your attention

"Chiba San? This letter is for you" they said as you snapped out of your thoughts and looked at them, then the letter in their hand. "Who is it from?" You asked but they just shrugged, saying that it was on their desk when they arrived and just walked away.

"Oooooo! Is this a love letter?!" You heard Hatachi say playfully as you elbowed him. Opening up the letter, you read what was written

'Meet me on the roof after school, there is something that I want to talk to you about'

"Weird, there is no name on it" you said while rereading the note.  Hatachi and Iwaki were teasing you while Serena was concerned over who it was that sent it. Nonetheless you still went once school was over, you went up the stairs that lead to the roof and took a deep breath in.

Opening the door, you was surprised to see Yoshiro standing by the gate, looking out to wherever he was looking at. Closing the door, he then turned around to see you there "So you got my note" he said as you walked over by him, holding out the note as proof that you had it "That's right. Why did you want to talk to me?"

Yoshiro sighed as he crossed his arms, leaning on the gate "Look I've been thinking about that crazy boat thing. And well.....I want to say sorry for how I have been treating you for the past few months....and I was thinking that maybe....we should start over and try to be friends?"

You blinked as you were registering what he just said "You want to be friends?" You asked, still a bit baffled that he just asked that "Look, I know you probably don't want to! It's just that...." He paused while looking away, a blush on his face unnoticed by you "I just thought that we should just try  is all..."

You was thinking, yes you two would always fight almost everyday but sometimes part of you would think how it would be if you two were actually nice to each other. "Well, if that is the case, then I agree" you said, making Yoshiro turn to look at you with surprise.
