Standing under a run down structure near the tarmac I felt my heat sink as the plane filled with our futures flew far away.

"There goes the gold" pope said sounding the most upset I'd ever head him

"Shit!" He cursed turning around and walking away from us.

JJ kicked a chair which was normal for him but still made me slightly flinch.

"Fuck!" Pope yelled making me turn and stare at him as he threw a bunch of junk around.

"Pope" kie said shocked by his outburst

"God damnit" he yelled grabbing a crowbar and smashing a bunch of random items that were thrown out here.

"Shit! Fuck!" He continued cursing as I looked at him with shock and sadness not expecting him to act this way. I think this was the first time he had ever done something like this in front of all of us.

He continued to destroy everything in his surroundings as JJ and I threw a glance at each other.

"Pope" kie said twice trying to calm him

Once he got it out of his system he sat down on a twine bench and was hyperventilating. I knew how he was feeling but I didn't know how to help

"Pope" kie said once again in a sad tone as she walked closer to him

"Yeah dude" JJ said somewhat encouraging him.
"I was wondering when this was gonna happen" JJ continued

There was a moment of silence when JJ stopped in front of pope. Then he reached out his hand holding a juul making me give him a "really?" Look.

"Here you go chief, a little weed never hurt no one" JJ said as pope looked at him

"JJ" I said not loving the idea since pope had never been high before and this was not what he needed

"Relax Hannah" he said to me
"You know he doesn't smoke" I replied

Pope then quickly took the juul and looked at it. JJ sat down next to him waiting for him to take a hit.

"Pope, yeah what is that gonna help?" Kie added also not wanting him to smoke.

"I lost my scholarship. Walked out in the middle of the interview. Every- it's gone it's not gonna happen" pope said in a sad voice making me look at him with sympathy

"You did that for us?" Kie asked softly

"No not for us. For nothing" he replied standing up and getting angry again

"Im here for you pope, welcome to my world okay?" JJ said to pope standing up and putting his arm around him.

"JJ" kie said still disapproving. I noticed that JJ had gotten another juul and held it in his hand, so as he and kie continued to fight I grabbed it out of his hand and took a hit. Things were getting too stressful and I couldn't handle it.

"You don't have to do that" kie said to pope as he lifted the juul to his lips as I gave JJ his juul back.

"What do you care?" Pope said in a resentful way to kie

I watched them and then suddenly pope got a scared look on his face. We all whipped our heads around to see John b. He had been covered in blood and had a traumatized look on his face and I didn't know what to think. My thoughts immediately went to the worst place.

"Dude dude you good?" JJ asked panicked as we all ran over to him. My face was that of shock and horror.

He didn't say anything. "This yours?" JJ asked holding up his hand to look at the blood
