Cedric's Birth and the Attack on Supernova

for Supernovians that black cloud had one name...

Ciaran Shadow, the guy who hated and envied the Supernovians for their powers and after Xena was born, that put a bigger target of the backs of the Supernovians than there already was. 

Six years passed since Xena was born and....

Zaria is pregnant again with

a baby boy!!! 

Xena was so excited to have a baby brother. 

After another 9 months of pregnancy, a beautiful baby boy was born. Right outside Zaria and Alaric's bedroom, Xena waits anxiously(big sister side already there)outside wondering if her mother and baby brother were okay. Alaric opens the door and says in a low, calm voice. 

"Xena, you can come in down, but keep your voice down." Xena nods and walks up to Zaria's bed and looks down at the little bundle of joy in her mother's arms. 

"Xena, meet your new baby brother, Cedric Alaric Salvatore." Zaria said, looking at Xena and then back her baby boy. 

Cedric has blonde hair and blue hair, just like his father, mother and sister. 

Cedric slowly opens his eyes and looks at Xena. Xena lets him hold her index finger. 

"Hi there Cedric, I'm your big sister Xena. You look just like our father, you know that?" Xena said in calm, low voice. 

Cedric giggles and a spark between them went off. 

"I promise to always protect you, come hell or high water(sorry father), no matter what, always and forever. " Xena said again in that calm, low voice. 

Cedric giggles again and Xena smiles warmly. 

Time skip to that night  

In Xena's room, Zaria just put Cedric to bed in his crib(his crib is in Xena's room). Xena looks at her mother worriedly. 

"Mother, are you sure this is a good idea, having Cedric in my room? What if Ciaran Shadow comes to my room first? It would be leaving both me and Cedric as sitting ducks." Xena said. 

"Xena, dear, if Ciaran ever comes here, he would come after your father and me, rendering you and Cedric helpless, but you don't let him, use your powers and escape." Zaria tells Xena in a instructive tone and Xena nods. 

"But let's just say 'what if'?" Xena said. 

"If Ciaran ever tried to get to you and Cedric first, which will never happen; he would have to go through me and your father. If me and your father know anything about Ciaran Shadow, it's that he wants our elemental powers and in order to get them, he would have to kill me and your father, rendering you and your baby brother helpless and scared; but that will never happen." Zaria said and Xena nods again. 

Little did Zaria know that a little ways away from Supernova in a creepy looking mansion, in a meeting room, and man with short black hair and dark blue eyes(remember this for later) sat in his chair with a crystal ball in front of him listening to the whole conversation between Xena and Zaria(stalker much). 

"Never say never, my dear Zaria; your daughter and your new son's powers will be mine." Ciaran said and cackles. 

Ciaran turns off the crystal ball, gets up and looks at his followers that were sitting at the table. 

"Tonight is the night, my Shadows. Tonight we will destroy Supernova at midnight when everyone is asleep, take Xena and Cedric Salvatore, bring them back here and take their powers from them. Of course we'll have to wait until little one's powers come in. With that kind of power with my own, I will be able to make everyone who ever doubted me pay!" Ciaran said. 

His followers get up cheering and cackling. 

"Get ready, Supernova, a big storm is coming and it has one name, Ciaran Shadow!" Ciaran said, cackling to himself.

Time skip again to midnight 

In Supernova, everything is quiet except for the owls hooting in the night. Xena and Cedric are sleeping soundly in their room.

Out of the blew, Xena wakes up from hearing her mother and father scream. Xena gets out of bed fast and grabs Cedric from his crib. Xena opens her door slowly and checks of the coast is clear. It is, so Xena goes to her parents' room and when she gets to their bedroom door and sees it's open, she got worried, 'cause Zaria and Alaric never leave their door open, ever. Xena stands in front of the open doorway and sees Ciaran Shadow in front of Zaria and Alaric's bed and sees her parents...dead. 

Xena gasps, Ciaran hears her, turns around and sees her in the doorway, holding Cedric with a scared expression on her face. 

"We finally meet at last, Xena Salvatore." Ciaran said in a creepy tone. 

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY PARENTS, YOU PYSCHOPATH!" Xena screams at Ciaran, startling Cedric awake and he starts crying. 

Xena rocks him slightly as she runs out of the Salvatore Manor. When Xena gets outside, all she hears is screams, the screams of people, men, women and children alike. Houses and little family-owned shops on fire and burned to the ground. The crying of her little brother and the screaming and the sights in front of her, blocks out the sounds of Ciaran coming up behind her. 

Xena senses his dark magic and turns around to face him with a angry expression on her face. 

"Why are you doing this? What did we ever do to you?!" Xena shouts at Ciaran.

"I want what you have! I want you and brother's powers and you will hand them over to me!" Ciaran said. 

"There is no way I'm giving mine or my brother's powers to a power-hungry Shadow like you!" Xena shouts. 

"Well then...I guess I'll to take them." Ciaran said as his powers create an arrow and he shoots it at Xena. 

Xena dodges the arrow, holding Cedric in her right arm and using her moon powers out of her left hand. Her left palm turns a dark purple as she shoots a similar arrow at Ciaran that hits his chest, making him fall on his butt. Xena tries to leave, but with her back to Ciaran, he goes full force at Xena, knocking her over and making Xena drop Cedric. A female Shadow catches Cedric before he could hit the ground. Xena tries to get up, but Ciaran carved something on Xena's left shoulder. Xena left hand managed to use her wind or air powers, her palm turns whiter than her skin and pushes him off her, but it was too late. Xena's left shoulder has a black skull-shaped scar and her clothes were ripped where the scar is. 

Xena looks at the female Shadow and uses her earth powers, her palm turns a earth green and she makes vines go up the Shadow's body until it reaches her chest. She drops Cedric, Xena uses a vine to catch and brings him to her. Xena picks up Cedric, releases the Shadow and every Shadow retreats. 

"Any other Shadow wanna try me!...No? That's what I thought." Xena said. 

That's when Xena realizes how tired she was and she collapses from exhaustion onto her back with Cedric laying on her chest. 

A figure, a man walks up to the two and Cedric looks at the man and says his worst sentence. 

"Can you please help my big sister?" Cedric said. 

The man looks at Cedric with an emotionless expression. Cedric falls asleep as the man picks up Xena as she holds Cedric against her chest. 

Who is this guy? What will happen to Xena and Cedric?
