Tommy whimpered as he hit the ground. He knew it was too late for him the second the bullet hit. The worst part was the person who was holding the gun. The man who dragged him into this mess was the same one to take him out.
The second the gun went off; Siren stopped his fight with the civilians. He put his gun back in its respective spot and opted for his mind control. "Don't breathe." He ordered; his voice was loud as he barked his command. The man quickly turned around and ran to Tommy's aide.
"No! No!" The Egg screamed into everyone's head that could hear it. Dream noticed Minx who was near Technoblade. She was on the ground holding her breath and clawing at her throat. Felicity came up from behind Minx and slammed her saber into the side of her head. All fighting seemed to cease as Wilbur cried.
"It's okay, Toms. Wilby is going to fix everything. We can go back to England. You said that you had wanted to find your parents. You had lost them at the Scunthorpe Zoo. You have to get up. They are looking for you, Tommy. Fuck! I'll be looking for you too. Wake up! Wake up!" Wilbur was using his power to try to wake Tommy up. He just needed to see some sign of movement.
Anything. It would mean that Tommy wasn't dead. That Wilbur didn't drag a thirteen-year-old to his death. "You made me feel like a good person. You taught me that the world wasn't as horrible as I thought. You made Techno laugh for the first time in years. You made Phil act like a dad again. You were the first thing he has smiled at since our mother had died. Tommy. You lit up our lives. You ca- you can't leave us now." Wilbur's voice cracked as he pulled Tommy into his lap. He placed Tommy's blood-soaked head on his shoulder.
How could the gods be so cruel? How could they fix his dysfunctional family with a single boy just to rip him away? This wasn't fair. Techno finally had the chance to turn around. He wished he didn't.
Nothing hurt like seeing his brother hold a person that he had trusted. Techno would have trusted Tommy with his pets, his life, and his death, but Tommy wasn't there to trust now. Techno raised his sword, before he turned it around and buried it into the wood of the stage. He ran over to Wilbur. He gently closed Tommy's eyes and placed his hand on Wilbur's shoulder.
The pinkette just bit his lip as he stared at the gunshot wound in the side of Tommy's head. His knees gave out eventually. He was just left sitting near the Egg dumbfounded. He didn't know what to do. He just felt lost. If he was any other person, he would've given into the voices, but he wasn't.
Techno unclipped his cloak. The cloak that Tommy always wrapped up in when Techno was sitting near him. The thirteen-year-old would hide behind it when he felt anxious. It was Tommy's comfort space. Techno even caught the blonde wearing it when he thought Techno was out grocery shopping.
Wilbur gently laid Tommy down. He placed the side with the gunshot against the floor. Wilbur took off his trench coat and bunched it up so that Tommy had something to rest his head on. Techno laid his cloak on Tommy's shoulders, so that Tommy wouldn't get too cold when there was a breeze. He looked like he was sleeping, and the brothers wished he was asleep. Just so they could hear Tommy complain one more time.
But Tommy was wrongfully killed. Techno stood up. He pulled his sword out of the ground. He murderously slowly turned around to the direction that the gun shot had come from. The culprit was just standing up above all the people on the ground. His hand was shaking as he held the gun still. What hurt Techno most was that he could see the face of the man who did it, and it was his friend.
George was breathless as he held the gun like his life depended on it. Dream was whispering consolations in his ear to try to calm him down. Dream tackled George to the ground as Techno's sword came flying at George's face. The brunette dropped Dream's gun as he laid limp in shock.
