Eva pov

"amalia calm down, sh wouldn't keep going if you weren't hanging onto everything she says" I tried reasoning knowing if amalia kept going someone was gonna get hurt, but as expected she didn't listen and persisted "you're nothing but an ugly, weak, pathetic brat, you're only here because yugos nice to everyone!" the sadida screamed at y/n almost instantly bringing y/n to silent tears

No ones pov

"why don't you shut your spoiled useless princess ass up!" Yugo yelled clearly angered by what amalia had said, everyone was taken aback at his sudden change in attitude. Yugo quickly moved to y/n making sure she knew she was perfect, strong, and one of the best members on the team;Eva and ruel joined in saying they felt lucky to have someone like her on their side

The girls tears slowly started to fade as she clung to yugo, like he was pushing all the dark away. It was nice to know how much she meant to them even if she couldn't win them all, she'd already won the best prize possible at the time
