RWBY: Hero? More Like Blacksmith

Part 3: First Battle

(The next morning)

With a groan Jaune awoke and rubbed his eyes, looking around he found he was the only one awake as Nora and Ren were snuggled together and Pyrrha was sleeping peacefully in her bed while slightly snoring.

Smiling at the sight of his sleeping teammates Jaune got up quickly and went to do his morning routine, taking a shower and brushing his teeth took about 10 minutes which he then started to get dressed.

Before putting his shirt on he inspected his tattoo's with an inquisitive look, the idea of storing his items in the sigils runes as he called them along his body was an intriguing one but it also made him think of other possibilities.

What if he could use the runes to attack? But that one idea spiraled into how and what type of attacks which was all to complicated for his mind at the moment since he hadn't drank his coffee yet.

Putting his shirt on he exited the bathroom and saw that Pyrrha had woken up while he was in there, he smiled and gave her a greeting "Good morning Pyr."

The red head smiled with a bit of redness to her cheeks "Morning to you as well Jaune, do you have any plans today?"

Jaune hummed in thought for a second before responding "Well I was gonna take it easy for the day since I've been working nonstop since monday, would you like to join me for the day?"

The smile he got in return was an answer enough but the reply he got confirmed it "Yes that sounds wounderful, do you plan on going to Vale?"

"Yeah Coco is still on my case for my wardrobe so I promised her I'd go down and get new clothes, and I think someone like you who always looks good can help." Said Jaune absent mindedly.

He didn't notice the deep blush appear on his partners face nor the hearts in her eyes which would have scared him, but instead his mind was back to the ways to attack and experiment with his runes.

He let Pyrrha get showered and dressed before they went to the cafeteria for breakfast together, on the way Jaune realized he was getting stares from the other students and quickly looked at his clothes to make sure he wasn't wearing his onesie like in those weird nightmares he has sometimes.

Sighing in relief at the fact he wasn't in his onesie he turned and asked his partner "Hey Pyr, what's up with everyone looking at me like that?"

Pyrrha tilted her head "Oh you just noticed? I guess I owe Nora and Yang some lien. But to answer your question they've been looking at you like that because of what happened on monday during combat class, you've been the talk of the school since then."

Jaune being the elegant and smart individual he was responded with finesse

Pyrrha snorted "Yeah me and the others we're wondering when you'd notice, you were so busy making your armors that you never noticed."

The blonde sighed "Great, now I have to worry about looking like a fool more than usual."

His red headed teammate laughed at his remark and they entered the cafeteria where Jaune noticed immediately that very one gave him looks and glances.

'Great, this is worse then that time I walked into the living room in my onesie while my sister's friends were over. I can still hear the girly giggles from those girls, even when it's been years it's like it's right next to me.......wait a minute-' He glanced over to see Pyrrha giggling at him.

Rolling his eyes with a small smile he and Pyrrha got their food before sitting down at their usual table where they met up with Weiss and Blake, the two early risers of their sister team.
