Part 12: A Dance With a Bull?

Jaune blinked in utter confusion, now you may be wondering why that is, and to be honest it was rather simple "We have a dance?"

Weiss sighed but nodded "Yes Jaune, and we've literally been talking about it every lunch period for the past month, Yang and I have even been the ones in charge of setting it up, and in all honesty you should know this."

Jaune just blinked again before turning to Ruby "How long have I been working on BT and my other projects?"

The little reaper hummed and put her hand on her chin in thought "I.....huh, I don't know. This is pretty much the first time in a while that we've been awake enough to be fully conscious of what's going on around us."

".....What?" Asked the tall blonde in a stupor.

At this point Yang stopped eating her steak for a moment to a simplify what her sister had said "She means that you guys have been so focused on your little projects that you haven't been able to get enough sleep to be able to understanding what was happening around you."

"Ooooh, that makes more sense." Replied Jaune, rubbing his bearded chin in understanding.

But this brought up another question, tilting his head Jaune asked what was on his mind "Then how long has it been since we've started our work on BT the the other projects, I mean it couldn't have been that long..........right?"

Yang looked up from her steak hanging from her mouth, tearing the meat on the fork she was holding the blonde swallowed before answering her fellow blonde with a raised eyebrow of disbelief.

"Jaune, buddy ol pal, the sword to my sheath, the set up to my pun.....you can't be serious."

Jaune shrugged at that "I am serious, the last thing I remember really happening was me showing the build team to my newest project I wanted their help on and then....a blur of work and that's pretty much it."

"..........It's been a full month and a half." Said Blake who was nursing her two children in a deadpanned tone, not to different from her usual one.

The Ouroboros Knight made a soured face at the reality hitting him, before pursing his lips together into a frown ".........Fuck."

"Fuck indeed mister Arc." Came a voice from behind him.

The group that was at their usual cafeteria table turned to see Miss Goodwitch accompanied by none other than the Headmaster, the blonde bespectacled woman gave the young man a look that spelt disappointment and unease lacing her eyes.

"H-hello Miss Goodwitch, and you as-well Mr Ozpin. What can we do for you?" Asked the worried blonde.

Ozpin smiled slightly before speaking up "If it's not to much to ask could you accompany us to my office Mr Arc, I'd like to make a proposal and for you to meet some new arrivals."

Jaune glanced at his friends and girlfriends who each gave either a nod or a shrug, he deadpanned at their reactions but shook his head and returned his gaze to the Headmaster before replying "Of course sir, I'll be in your care."

Ozpin nodded turning around and walking with Goodwitch not far behind, Jaune just looked on at the two until Weiss shoved his shoulder and whispered that he should get up and follow them.

He gave a soft 'Oh' before getting up and running up to the pair who had gotten quite far from the table by that point, but before leaving the cafeteria Jaune gave one last wave to his friends and loved ones who returned the gesture in kind.

Jaune was......bored, mainly because the entire walk to Ozpin's office had been silent, no talking, no chitchat, just the three of them walking to their destination with absolutely no words spoken between them.
