Part 4: Two Girls one Knight

Ozpin looked over the students in front of him, team RWBY was standing there nervously fidgeting every now and then or glancing at him.

To their right were Jaune and Pyrrha who looked fine, after all they weren't the ones who started the chaos at the docks and instead joined to help civilians and keep the area safe.

That's not mentioning Jaune's actions against Torchwick in taking away his weapons and defeating him, the headmaster was very proud of the boy for this and from what he heard from the civilians he was also the one to order miss Rose and Miss Nikos to protect and evacuate the people.

It seemed his gut had saved him again in finding the diamond in the rough that was Jaune Arc, it was also a good thing he replaced his papers with the real authentic ones instead of the forged rubbish he first submitted or else the council would have had a field day with them.

Though the boy didn't know it yet Ozpin had done him a great service, now he could never be called on the fact his papers were forged and the only thing against him would be his lack of going to a combat school.

But even that didn't matter for if you complete the entrance exam then your aloud in into Beacon combat school or not, after all not every promising huntsmen could afford such luxuries, for instance Nora Valkyrie and Lei Ren who were surviving on their own until coming to Beacon were prime examples.

But those thoughts aside he now needed to address the students in front of him "I'm not going to punish you too much for doing good work, but I will have to give you a warning. Vale has laws against vigilantism and the only thing keeping you out of jail is that your Beacon students and that Mr Arc helped the civilians so much that they have basically praising him all over the news."

Team RWBY grimaced but the headmaster continued "That being said, please leave the White Fang to the authorities and Huntsmen. We actually had a undercover spy in the rally you infiltrated and now with them arrested we have no idea where they are taking the stolen dust."

Blake grimaced again even harder than the first time and gripped her skirt until her knuckles turned white, she had screwed up due to her obsession with the White Fang and now it was all on her for dragging her friends into this.

Jaune seeing her sad and frustrated decided to pat her on the head, he had done it with his sisters whenever they were upset and hoped it worked on Blake to make her feel better.

It worked... a little to well as he heard her purr, unbeknownst to him he had rubbed her ears under her bow in such a way that caused her to clamp her legs together on instinct.

Ozpin took a sip of his hot chocolate and spoke once again "As punishment to appease Glynda you all will have a mission to exterminate Grimm at Mount Glenn, after which you will be going and on a diplomatic mission in Menagerie that Vale is hoping to have to show good relations."

At the word Menagerie Blake froze and tensed up which the others took notice, Jaune not knowing of her faunus nature and that Menagerie was her home misunderstood the situation.

"Don't worry Blake I bet it'll be fine, after all what's the worst that can happen?" Said the dense blonde.

Blake's finally mental dam broke and she pounced on top of him "You don't get it! My family is there and I haven't seen them in years!"

Jaune blinked dumbly before tilting his head "I mean that's a good thing isn't it? Aren't you glad to catch up with them and tell them all about your adventures with your friends?"

The cat girl stopped and thought about it, it took a moment but she shook her head "It's not like that, I would love to see them but I left on bad terms and haven't spoken to them since then!"
