The atmosphere of the dropship was practically dead silent. There was an occasional sound of the metal seatbelts clinking together and some hushed conversations but other than that, the place was literally dead silent.

You would think that a bunch of liberated delinquents would cause a whole mess of excited and chaotic sounds upon their release but you'd be wrong. Many of them were silent due to the fact that they were currently being plagued with extreme fear and nervousness.

Sure, going down to the ground was an exciting event for them but there were a lot of negatives associated with the journey. And many of those reasons all involved death of some kind.

What if they all die of radiation? What if they get eaten by an animal? What if there's no food or water? What if they never see their family again? What if the Council sends no one to help them and they're left stranded? Those were all plausible and legit reasons to be afraid of this new adventure.

But to some teens, the fear of the unknown never crossed their mind and they were just excited to be liberated from the Council's tight grips.

"Who's ready for some fucking freedom!" That was the first thing to break through the somewhat solemn atmosphere.

The statement decently worked to lift everyone's spirited as when they all looked up and made eye contact with the owner of said voice, they became excited. That voice belonged to none other than Julian Nero.

For those who don't know, the Hispanic boy is considered a legend among the delinquents. He is the only person in Talladegan history to try and ignite a political revolution against the Council due to a lack of rights for the lower class. Sure, it failed and he got arrested but that didn't stop his fame.

"Julian! Julian! Julian!" All of the delinquents began to cheer happily for his entrance.

"Thank you, thank you." Julian was happily busking in all of the attention he was receiving.

"Take your seat, Mr Nero." The guard instructed, becoming annoyed by the sudden commotion. "I don't want to have to ask you again."

"Alright, I'm going." Julian assured, taking a careful step into the dropship.

Everyone looked at him with bright eyes, kind of hoping that the legendary boy would sit beside them. He immediately passed all of his fans and took a seat next to his best friend, Augustine Blake. Once he was seated, a guard had come over to properly strap him in as they couldn't have him trying anything stupid before the dropship took off.
