From my first moment
Nestled in my mother's womb
I have been blessed
To walk this earth
With the burdens
Of a beastI am tormented
To carry the weight on my back
Of pains that were not my ownAs I am a lover
Built of broken glassI will cut you open
To find your woe
Then stitch you shut
Once I can reflect it forever
Within myselfI will kill every glittering starlight
That rests in my soul
To make your city lights shine brighterI was birthed with a heavy heart
And I will die with one
To some that is a curse
But I see it as a blessing
For in a world like the one we live in now
I see few too people with hearts at all
Let alone those with hearts like mineIf leaving it open
To mercy
Empathy
Grace
Is what kills me
Then damn it all let me die
For I could not live without
Feeling
