Chapter 3: Violence doesn't solve anything

Katrina tried getting away from Dillon, but he was just to strong. Before the cops came Dillon had already left with Katrina. The cops came, but they saw Dillon with Katrina and the cops chased them down. They were in a spot where they couldn't get away from the cops.

Dillon just decided to give up and pushed her out of the way cause he didn't want her to get hurt. He went down on his knees and the cops arrested him.

Katrina was relieved that she was rescued by the cops. They took her to the hospital to see her mother. They said she will be just fine and that she will be released soon. Katrina felt so bad about everything, but after dealing with this situation she totally a different person. The cops asked her some questions about Dillion cause they looked at his background.

They asked Katrina "Did you know Dillon? How did you guys meet? Where you two a couple?" Katrina said that she met him on the internet and that they were not a couple. I know that I'm not suppose to give out any information, but I was just so lonely and didn't have anyone in my life."

She was happy to see David, but so worried about her mother. So, they drove to the hospital and as they were driving they talked about everything that happened. David was telling Katrina how much he loves her. Katrina loves him too,  but doesn't know what to say at this moment. She is way to worried about her mother.

They arrive at the hospital and met up with her dad.  Her dad said "your mom is gonna be just fine. She has to stay in the hospital over night and should be able to come home soon."

She asks "What's going to happen too Dillon?"

Zeke said "I don't know hunny, but he is less your worried anymore. I want you to stay away from him."

"Ok, daddy. I will."

They stayed at the hospital until they were able to see her mother. It was about 9 o'clock at night and the doctor finally came out to talk then.

The doctor said "she's gonna be just fine. No major surgery needs to be done. We got the bullet out and she has stitches. Here in a few weeks I would like to see her back so we can remove the stitches. Make sure she keeps it easy and has much rest as possible."

Zeke asked the doctor if they can see her and he said "You may all go back and see her for a little but and then let her rest. You can always come back tomorrow morning."

They all started walking to her room and Katrina said "thank goodness she is ok. I love my parents to the moon and back, but if anything happen to my mother I don't know what I ever do without her. My daddy loves her so much I would never be able to forgive myself if anything happen to her."

David was talking to her too make her feel better. He said "it's not you fault this happened. Your parents love you a lot and I think that they just got caught up in there work so much that there realizing how amazing you truly are."

She said to David "I love you." That was the first time she ever said that to someone besides her parents. He said "I love you too! I will always be here for you!"

They finally got to Caroline's room and knocked on the door.

She said "come in!"

Katrina has been so overwhelmed she walked fast to her mother started crying and hugged her so tight. She said "I'm so sorry mommy I didn't mean for any of this to happen!"

Katrina she said don't worry about it. I'm fine and that's all what matters. This isn't your fault. I love you so much hunny. I think from now on that your dad and I are going to start caring more about you instead of our work.

"I need you mommy and daddy" said Katrina. Can I miss school for a few days mommy? Caroline didn't want her to miss any school, but she said I think that be fine with me if its ok with your dad.

Zeke said "She's, that's have some family time and see what we can do about these bullies."

He said to David "Thank you for being there not just for us, but for my daughter to. It means a lot to us to see someone who really cards about her even if you did bully her you totally changed for the better. "

"Your welcome Mr. Wolf. I love your daughter and would do anything for her and her family."

They sat with Mrs. Wolf for a while until the visiting hours are over.

Zeke dropped off David at his house and then they went home. Katrina walked David to his door and said "thank you for being there for me. I love you." "I love you to Katrina and nothing will ever change that. I will always be here for you no matter what."

And then before he opens the door he gives her first kiss on the lips. She was so extremely happy and in love.

David goes into his house and shuts the door. He turns his back to the door and sighs with a smile on his face cause he's so happy.

Katrina walks to the car with a huge smile on her face. She is so happy and in love. Twinkle in her eyes her face is all red. Life couldn't get any better than this.

As Katrina and her dad was driving to there house they started talking about everything. She asks him "Can we go to the police station to see what's going to happen with Dillon? I want a no contact order. I don't want him anywhere near my family and my boyfriend. I am in love with David dad." I can tell sweetheart he said. I am so happy you finally found someone. I am so sorry that your mother and I haven't been there for you like we should be, but from now on things are going to change.

They get to the house and as soon as they get in they get on Katrina's computer. Zeke said that she needs to block him, but to save everything and print it all out so that you have proof to show the cops and lawyer. Tomorrow they are going back down to the police station and to get a lawyer.

2 hours later

Katrina fell asleep around midnight. She was tossing and turning like crazy cause she was having a nightmare.

She started to run cause Dillon was after her and he had a knife in his hand. Katrina tripped and fell on the ground. He was coming closer and closer to Katrina. She started crying and could only think of David and her family.

"SCREAMING"
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
She woke up and was crying. Her dad came running into her bedroom and she was drinched with sweat!!

It was almost morning so her and her father decided just to stay awake and eat breakfast together. Her father asked "what do you want for breakfast." She said "May I have eggs, bacon and toast, please." "Yes, you may sweetheart he said."

Breakfast is ready. He serves his daughter her food. He reads the paper while Katrina texts David.

(Texting)
Katrina "Good morning"
David "Good morning sunshine"
Katrina "You coming over. Were gonna go to the police station and get a lawyer."
David "Of course bunny I will be over there in a few minutes."
Katrina "My dad and I will be over in a few to get you so you don't have to walk."
David "Don't worry about it hunny I can walk."
Katrina "ok see you in a bit."

David gets up out of bed and gets dressed. Grabs his wallet and his keys then walks out the door.

*Knock, knock*

Katrina opens the door and gives him a big hug. He enters the house and shakes Zeke hand. Good morning sir he said.

Are you guys ready? Zeke said. Yes were ready dad. Out the door they go to the police station.
