The unexpected Love story

Blade's POV

I did some very hard thinking about how Selena and Starla see so similar like they are almost like they are sisters that got separated at birth somehow. But idk how that's possible because Starla is a little younger I think. Wait why am I even thinking about this? Should I say something about this to them? No no I don't think they would like that very much if they really are alike how I think maybe I could with Starla she seems a little bit nicer. Sure how Selena doesn't find out I think that because she is still prettier than Starla to me anyway even one else seems to think Starla is just bc her hair is magical literally changes color with the seasons of the weather which is cool don't get me wrong it's cool but she seems like she doesn't really open up much. Hmm she is hiding something? If so what would that be? OMG MY MOM IS GOING TO KILL ME I AM LATE FOR WORKING AT HER STORE!

When I got to my mom's store she was giving me this very scary look and I didn't like it one bit. Definitely not going to be late ever again. So I better get to work before she really does kill me. The only thing I can see to think about is Selena and how she is so much different than everyone else here. Well almost because Starla is pretty close to how she is only thing different about them other than how they look is Selena wants to help people and find more about her even the town. Starla has been looked at as this weird around everybody in town. I wonder why she's looked at that way? She is also very quiet and keeps to herself. I hope with Selena as her friend she starts to open up to at least her.

Hours later after I get done working if you can say what I did was working. I mostly thought about Selena after the little bit I did of Starla I am just worried about her and hope she starts to feel more comfortable here and town. Should I go see Selena? Would that be weird? I mean we are friends right? Ok I am going to just go ahead and say hi to her I mean that can't hurt right? Ok yea I should get something as a welcome gift for her. I know I see her looking at this dress in the store that's kinda princess looking just has moons and stars all over it which she's always wearing because she loves the night sky. Alright got the gift for her and heading to her house. Wait she I get Starla something too? But what I don't really know what she likes. I will get her something when I get to know her better plus I kinda keep seeing Selena on purpose. I mean she is very cute and sweet.

I got to her house and I hear giggling from inside that's a good thing because Starla has not seemed happy in town until Selena moved here. I thought that maybe I should come back later. Then that's when Starla opened the door before I could knock or leave questioning "you do know I can sense people's aura right?" I looked at she shocked and confused saying "I didn't know that but that's really interesting." She then sees the box I was holding before smiling and giving me this look like she knew something. She the let me come in and sit on the couch for a little bit before speaking again "she will be home in 10 mins and I keep you little crush a secret until you decide to tell her yourself." With that she winks and walks off I think to the kitchen. Hmm she seems a lot different from when she was living outside and alone. Apparently she can also sense feeling and auras about people maybe that's why she stayed to herself.

Ten minutes go by which felt like forever but I did learn that Starla is very interesting and she is very good at making things out of trees and flowers. Oh even learned that she likes the winter because her hair is easiest when it's as soft as snow and she love Christmas everything. That's when Selena wants in looking as stunning as ever in her winter clothes she bought and then she was seemed happy to see me. Thank goodness for that I was afraid that she was gonna be too tired from work but nope. Starla gave me this look like bro your gift. That's when Selena said something before I was even about to move "I am glad you're here Blade I actually have something I want to give you." With that she went to her room and I was smiling from ear to ear maybe bigger if it was even possible. She came back with a big looking box wrapped in my favorite color which was purple. She hands it to me and waited excitedly for me to open it up and see what it was so I did just that. When I opened it up there was this homemade looking blanket and pillow to match it with purple little skulls on them both. I looked up at her saying with excitement and still a little bit shocked by this "wow it's fantastic! Did you make this for me?" She smiled proudly and nodded softly.

I finally got my gift back in the box and expressed "why did you make me something so special and amazing." She looked at Starla who gave her an approved look before responded quite shyly "Because I wanted to because you have been nothing but nice and friendly with me." Wow that's the cutest most precious thing I've ever heard someone say about me. Ok I have to get my gift now to her. With that I gave my own shy smile softly speaking "I also have a gift for you Selena." She looked surprised and excited all at the same time somehow managing to make it look so cute. I handed her the box that I wrapped up in black paper with little gold stars on in. Eagerly awaiting for her to open the box and hoping she likes it and will fit into it because I guessed her size. She opened and and instantly smiled the most beautiful smile I have ever seen that words couldn't express it. With that she told me it's getting late but she let me see her in it another time.

I walked home with my new favorite blanket and pillow because the most beautiful woman in the world made it for me which made it that much more special to me. I am really glad she liked my gift and she's going to show me how beautiful she's going to look wearing it. But what does that mean does she have a plan for something to do with me that I have no clue about? Oh well as long as she's there. I am also very proud of Starla talking to me tonight. Really glad she's not going to tell Selena how I feel. I get home and of course my mom has to tease me examining the box before asking "well did your girlfriend get you a gift oh how sweet when do I get to meet her." I don't say a word about what she said. Went right to my room taking my old blanket and pillow off my bed and putting the ones she got me placed on my bed. Oh how I loved it so much. I fell asleep with my very soft new blanket and pillow that's as soft as a clouds.
