[3rd Pov:] (i changed ben to Kurohoshi because i was kinda bored of the twin shadow thing so that's why this is slightly edited)

Shoes hitting against the floor echoed in the large hallway as they rounded the corner, quiet heavy breaths left the owners mouth as they ran down the dimly lit hallways “oi! Get back here!” a voice familiar to her shouted as she ran and ran, she hated what was happening in her job but she knew that it had to be done and over with however the aftermath wasn’t a pretty sight to see and neither was she to say the least, her right hand was all black with different dark shades of purple and her nails had gotten pointy while on the left side of her neck were black cracks that stopped at her cheek, clearly she needed to head back to her office to stop what was happening to her otherwise she might just lose her mind her office was on the third to last floor of her organisation while she was somewhere on the middle floors, she rushed for the elevator that was around the corner and pressed the floor she needed leaning back against the cool wall of the box.

The elevator dingged indicating she was on the floor she wanted and walked down the hallway letting her thoughts take over yet she still kept an eye on where she was going or who was walking past as well, as she entered her office she tugged on her tie till it was loose while her hair was let down slowly swaying behind her, she let out a sigh of exhaustion after moving around all day and night without rest and having to take some medication in the afternoon due to some pain she felt in her arm, the morning sun began to rise as it reflected through the window behind her causing her to turn around and look at the sky then back in front of her, she didn’t have a shadow like everyone after the traumatising experiences as a child till the age of seven she tried very hard to forget them even when she was taken in by her uncle.

She looked at her reflection on her phone and saw the marks that had appeared on her face and arm were now gone after she tried calming herself down on her way back to her office and was soon looking over some paperwork in front of her when the door opened and closed “you’re back” a voice spoke after the door had closed, she shifted her gaze and was met with a male who had long silver-white hair with a long piece of the fringe going across his face and purple coloured eyes that had a white hue at the bottom, he was wearing a black shirt with a lace up V at the top with long baggy cuffs tucked into a pair of matching coloured pants and thigh high boots he had a confused expression on his face after seeing her in her office after not seeing her for a couple days “was the mission successful?” he asked her as he walked further in “yep, wine man’s reporting it to the boss now” she answered as he walked over to one of the sofas in the office and sat down.

“Why didn’t you go? He’s your uncle” he piped up after seeing her jacket hanging off the edge “because Kuro, I am tired and I have a meeting to go to in an hour so i need to look over this before handing it over” she answered glancing at him before looking back at the work, Kurohoshi looked at her and sighed as he knew her job was difficult and considering what she went through he could understand why “want me to leave the room?” he asked in a calm tone “no it’s fine, i’m just tired after staying up all day and night” she answered putting the work down and looked at him as he hung her jacket up on the back of the sofa “i see, want a drink for some energy? What do you want?” he asked as he stood up and turned around to face her as he put a hand on his hip.
