It's been a few weeks.

Zane and Gene pretend that nothing ever happened, although Gene does let Zane feed on him often

Zane had just gotten back from school and he was bored

Normally he would just go play something up in his room but something during his history class today got his attention

They were told that in an old history book that the school system no longer used there was information on the origins of types of creatures, including vampires.

Zane had recognized the name of the book, Garte had it in his office

Zane was home alone, Vylad with his parents on a trip to O'Khasis, and Garroth spending the night at Laurance's house, so he decided to get the book out of his father's study

It took a few minutes but Zane found the book

It was in the ancient language of the divine

Zane was able to translate it to English as he knew the language, it read

"The Ro'Maeve Book of Creatures"

Zane was a bit confused, it sounded and read just like his last name, just the e and a were flipped

He opened the book and saw old scribbling on the back of the cover, translated to English it read

"Werewolves are in the Lycaon book of werewolves"

Something else that looked strange to him, Lycaon looked similar to Lycan

Zane took the book up to his room, sitting down on his desk with it

Zane started with the known currently existing creatures

it started with the history of Meif'wa, how they came about, the old region of Tu'la that was ruled by a king more corrupt than the old lord of O'Khasis, their common religions, biology, and so on.
He read all the same about witches and warlocks, except that Tu'la wasn't included. Something else that caught his eye was something that said the last name 'Valkrum', the last name of a kid in his homeroom. It said that more information on warlocks and the 'Demon Warlock' would be available in 'The Valkrum Book of Warlocks', although it also said that it was written in a language only descendants of Enki the Keeper and the Demon Warlock can read.
He read on more, getting to a small portion of werewolves. It just went into their instincts and biology, saying that more would be available in the Lycaon book.
Then were Humans, the largest group of creatures. It went into how humans used to kill anything that looked slightly inhuman, killed other humans, burned and hung witches and warlocks, took over regions mostly populated by non-humans, and so on. There were few good things said about the history of humans. Just like all the other creatures the book went into detail on how the human body worked and how they evolved.

Then the book started talking about the 6 Divine Warriors and other creatures like them such as the Demon warlock

It told about how Shad was banished to the nether, the rising and him getting a body to use as a vessel, how part of him was stolen, how all the divine but Irene were mortal, how Irene locked herself away, about a fight that happened in the Irene dimension. How Irene beat the demon warlock, how Irene had a child with Shad, Shad's fight to get to his daughter, and so on

.Zane was slightly shocked by all he was reading, he knew all these names. His name, Garroth, Aaron, Aphmau, Vylad, Gene, Zenix, Sasha, Emmalyn, Kenmur, Katelyn, Travis, and a few more.

Zane tried to shrug this off as he continued reading, getting to the creatures that were thought to all be dead

The first creatures were Shadow knights, those had already been mentioned in the thing about the divine. There were names of some of the only known shadow knights. Laurance, Gene, Sasha, Zenix, Zane, Vylad, Garroth, Aaron.
No last names were given but Zane could assume by now who all these people were. It's said that there was a war between shadow knights and the rest of the divine and their followers. It's thought that most, if not all of them were wiped out.

Zane read more about the different creatures.

The Golems that existed in Kul'aks region
The Oni who were horrible people turned into demons by a group of witches in what now is known as Japan.
The Cyclops who were known to tend to animals quietly as all the divine were alive for the first time.
The Gnomes guarded the treasure of the divine.Imps that the Demon Warlock used to hurt and confuse people.
Elves that all seem to die or go missing when the Yggdrasil Forest somehow vanished from the face of this world.
Fairies that guided people and helped with magics that also seemed to all go missing when the Yggdrasil Forest vanished.
Gorgans that seemed to die out as other creatures learned to kill them without looking into their eyes.
Mermaids and Sirens either vanished or moved deeper into the ocean.Griffins were used by kings to guard their riches.
Phoenixes were praised by many Meif'wa as the 'bird made of the pure sun'.
Unicorns were horribly evil horses that lured humans in with their grace and healing properties only to eventually be killed off by them.
Wyverns were said to be at war with humans until someone, assumed to be Lady Irene, stepped in to try and stop. It's thought that Wyverns went to their own world somewhere away from Earth.
Zombies mindless creatures that could be killed off with one swing of a sword and burned in the sun.
Skeletons that shot bows at any human-like creature that was not undead that fell apart as soon as sunlight hit them.
Creepers are known as one of the most dangerous, they explode with only a small 'hiss' noise to warn their victims. Though when they exploded they also killed themselves in the process.
Huge spiders that became hostile in the dark, they were large enough for Skeletons to ride atop them.
Endermen are tall humans that became corrupt with exposure to the dimension known as the end, where they are all thought to be currently.

Then it got to the Vampires.
