Turning 16 (Zane Ro'Meave)

Zane still didn't know what he had seen in that,,, vision?

he didn't even know what to call it, it was so strange

It's the next weekend and Zane hasn't explained what he saw to anyone, but he has been looking up the last name 'Ro'Maeve' and 'Lycaon' and he's finally found something!

It's about an old village FalconClaw, a village with the same name as the university Zane planned to go to.

Falconclaw Settlement

Falconclaw was originally a large village settlement located between the old villages of Nahakra and O'Khasis. The village was abandoned and brought to ruins after the High Priest Zane Ro'Maeve interfered, leading to the death of every last villager but the Lord, whose name is speculated to be Aaron.

The High Priest gave a mysterious amulet to the lord's son, which he took to his father.

When the lord touched the amulet, everyone in his village died, including his family which consisted of his son and wife.

Since then, everyone had been made to believe that the Lord of Falconclaw had gone mad and murdered everyone until Lady Irene told people what actually happened.

People have reported even that after all this time they believe that they can feel the souls of the dead people haunting the area.

Zane read and reread the short article more times than he could count, and then spent an hour trying to find out more about the village but the university by the same name kept popping up.

The only thing he found was that the lord's name could have been Aaron Lycaon, with his son's name being Jacob and his wife's name being Lily.

This also led him down a rabbit hole to an article about the history of the State of O'Khasis, referring to it as 'The Forgotten Kingdom'.

O'Khasis

O'Khasis was known as the most powerful state in Ru'aun is was considered the major Political and economic powerhouse of the region. And should not be taken lightly by any other villages or states in this region.

There was a family who ruled O'Khasis as a monarchy-type government.

On the top was Lord Garte Ro'Maeve, who ruled with his wife Lady Zianna Ro'Maeve.

They had two sons Garroth, the oldest, and Zane, the youngest.

Lady Zianna was said to have had an affair with one of the villagers and birth to a son named Vylad from this affair, whom Garte adopted but later disowned.

When their youngest son was 11, he died from a stab wound to the back. The killer was never found

Only 6 years after this their oldest son, Garroth, ran away and faked his death to get out of an arranged marriage with the daughter of the lord of scaleswind when he was 18.

It's said that after this Lord Garte turned his attention to his middle son, Zane.

No one has reported what happened but only a year later when Zane was 17 he was made the High Priest of O'Khasis.

Now Zane is even more confused, who killed the youngest son? Why did this family seem almost exactly like his family, just with the last name spelled differently?

It was all so confusing

He didn't know what to think

Zane picked up his phone and went to Aarons's contact, debating on whether to text him or not.

Zane 4:24 am

When you get the chance can you go into your dads study or wherever he keeps books and look for one for me?

Zane sent the message and put his phone down, not bothering to take it off silent. Aaron doesn't need an answer immediately if he even answers any time soon.

Zane turned off his computer and walked over to his bed, flopping down on it and just laying there for a few minutes.

Zane was bored and there was an overwhelming feeling that,,, he didn't even know but it was annoying.

He groaned and rolled over and sat up getting off his bed.

He walked over to his closet and changed into a black hoodie, dark grey jeans, and put on some black sneakers.

Zane grabbed his phone and earbuds and quietly made his way out of his house.

Zane ran for a little bit, ending up an hour away from his house in a matter of seconds.

He put his earbuds in and put on a random playlist.

Zane set an alarm on his phone for 5:30 am when he should start heading home so he could get to school on time, or he could just skip.

Zane shook his head but deleted the alarm and started walking again.

If Garroth or someone else texted him he would just tell them he left for school early, it's not like they could prove him wrong.

Zane ended up at the edge of a forest. The same forest he killed that poor man in.

Sorry its been so long 😭 

got depressed, my schools had a lockdown and then an actual shooting at it a few days later, and just bunch of other stuff lol

I'll try to update more, finally getting medicated for my depression and stuff so hopefully ill be in the mood to write more
Also I'm on spring break so maybe i'll actually force myself to write for this week off el oh el

Anyways sorry if this chapter is bad I wrote like half of it a month ago and wrote the other half in the last 45 minutes
