Blue was on his way to school feeling bright and ready for the day. Luna on the other hand, was trying to look happy when she was clearly not. She had failed a test which was unusual. "I'm fine, I'm fine," She muttered quietly. He opened his mouth to say something but then quickly closed it. He was trying to imagine what it would be like to be Luna, like he often did.

Once they were at school, Blue rushed over to meet Cricket at her locker. Cricket was his amazing friend who was obsessed with books, she knew the answer to almost everything and her breath always smelled like fresh apples. She was new to the school but she had practically memorized the entire building. When she noticed Blue she closed her locker door hard on her hand. "Ouch. Hey Blue!" Cricket said in a warm friendly voice rubbing her hand. He had a small crush on her but he mostly tried to ignore it. I'll get over it in a week at most. He thought

Blue's first class was embroidery and he was really excited. He was working on a piece that showed him, Cricket and Sundew all together. It was almost finished. He would have liked to make something more detailed like them getting ice cream or something, but he wasn't at that level, yet. In the picture, Cricket was holding her three year old sister Bumblebee. Blue liked Bumblebee a lot and he was babysitting for her on the weekends.

As Blue walked to his locker he admired his art. Oof. He bumped into Sundew. She scowled and left. He wished he knew why she was so secretive, But she was still one of his best friends.

Blue was about to open his locker when he heard something from the locker next to him. That was Cricket's. He cautiously opened the locker when something pounced on him. "AAAHHH!" Blue shrieked. Bumblebee's big brown eyes stared at him curiously. She had sandwich and cookie crumbs all over her face. Blue looked in Cricket's lunch bag only to find just a salad. He chuckled and walked her over to the principal's office, telling her not to run into classes and touch things. When he finally got there he told the principal, "Hi Mrs. Jewel, I found my friend's little sister in her locker. Could I maybe walk her back to her house?"

"Yes but why didn't she just come here herself?"

"Because. . . she . . . uhm . . " Blue struggled to speak. ". . . doesn't know."
