We finally pull up to her house. I had to admit, her house was scary pulling into at first. The front had a black creepy gate with her last name imbedded into it. As we pulled up to the house, we pulled up to a dark forest that surrounded a quite tall dark Victorian like house.
"Wow... this is beautiful. It suits you perfectly." I say as I look out the window as we pull into the cobblestone drive way beside it.
"Thank you! This beauty runs in my family. We are a very gothic family. We are actually why this town is known for all of its ghost stories." Ombra says with a small laugh as she gets out of the car. I nod at what she says and get out as well, shutting the car door behind me and following her inside. It was on the verge of being dark out so I stayed near her, holding onto her puffed sleeve like a lost dog.
"Awe, someone scared?" She says in a teasing tone. Before I can respond I hear a click of the door and she spins around and faces me before lifting my head up to look at her, using her index finger under my chin. "Don't worry, I'll protect you doll." she says with a giggle and pushes the door open and grabs my hand and leads me inside. I follow behind her, giggling at the slightly cringe phrase she had said. I look around and the people home, mostly lit with warm lighting, making it give off a more comfortable type of feeling.
"Welcome to my home!" She says with a smile as she leads me up the stairs as she points to each room, showing me where is what and what's what.
"This is stunning..." I say breathlessly. "I'd love to live here. My house is alright, just you know, too close to the road and I've had some creepy experiences there already." I say looking around as we stop at a door, assuming it's her room.
"Well... I'm okay with roommates if you're okay with spiders and cats?" She says with a laugh.
"I mean definitely, if you're okay with cats and rats." I say, in a joking tone.
"Of course! But my guest room is a bit of a wreck so you will have to either sleep with me or on the couch." She says, looking at me. This time she seemed more serious, did she actually mean that?
"That's fine! I don't mind at all!" I say smiling, trying to play it off .
She gives me a warm grin, bringing a blush to my cheeks. I nod and she giggles before turning back around and opening her door, revealing her beautiful room.
She had a large room, it gave off a romantic goth aesthetic to it. It fit her perfectly. The first thing I notice is the Victorian look of her walls, but it was darker. Mostly black, forest green, and gold. It was so beautiful. She also had a black chandelier to patch but she also had LED lights all around the top of her wall, to get a more modern type feel with all of the Victorian decor. Next was her bed, it was queen sized with forest green blankets and black sheets. The bed frame seemed to look like beautiful dark wood work. Beside her bed sits a beautiful vanity with her makeup and notes on her mirror. Beside it was a door, I'm assuming is her closet. Then to the left of her bed was an absolutely breathtaking and gigantic window where you could sit and read. It was all decked out in fall blankets, skull pillows, and a standing out white lunar moth stuffed animal. Lastly to finish it off, there was a large flatscreen tv in front of her bed, there was also a chest that had a blanket over it sitting at the end of her bed. Though I was curious, I didn't say a word.
"Wow.." I say, finally breaking the silence as she walks towards the door that proves my thoughts correct, and rummages through it. She pulls out a black laced tank top and skeleton shorts and lays them on her bed.
"Well, pick whatever you want from my closet for pajamas. Good luck though, lots of it is black." She says with a giggle and she grabs her clothes and goes to her bathroom, which was the door beside her bedroom to the left as u come up the stairs. After I hear her shut the door, I quickly walk to her closet and rummage through the clothes, admiring her style with each look.
