It had been a week since Yn was brought to the mansion, yet, despite all the attention and love she received from everyone, she still didn’t have her own personal room. The huge mansion was filled with luxurious spaces, but it seemed that the baby hadn’t been given her own little sanctuary yet. The thought seemed almost absurd, considering how much the family had fallen for her in such a short time, but the truth was that everyone had been so caught up in the excitement and the hustle of daily life that the task of preparing a room for her had fallen through the cracks.
Jungkook had noticed it the day before, as he walked through the mansion and realized Yn’s belongings were still scattered across various rooms, from the nursery to the living room. Nothing was truly her own space. He found himself bothered by it more than he expected, especially since Yn had already become so integral to their lives.
"I can’t believe it’s been a week, and she still doesn’t have a room," Jungkook had muttered to Hoseok as they sat down to eat dinner that night. "We have to do something about it."
Hoseok, ever the creative spirit, nodded in agreement. "I know, right? We’ve spoiled her with love, but this is the one thing we’ve left unfinished." Hoseok paused for a moment, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "How about we take it upon ourselves to fix that? We can turn it into something really special. After all, she deserves it."
Jungkook chuckled at Hoseok’s enthusiasm. "Leave it to you, Hyung, to turn everything into a grand event. But honestly, I think we can pull it off. A room just for Yn? That would be perfect."
The next morning, Hoseok and Jungkook set off together, determined to create the perfect room for Yn. They brainstormed ideas, combining their creativity. Hoseok envisioned a soft, pastel-colored theme with teddy bears and fluffy clouds, while Jungkook suggested a more practical, cozy vibe, with a warm, comfortable crib and plenty of space for her future toys and playtime. They debated over the color palette, fabrics, and even the furniture, trying to incorporate something both calming and fun for Yn.
They spent hours going through the mansion, choosing the best room for her. It was located at the far end of the hall, with a large window that let in plenty of natural light, which would make it feel warm and inviting. They both agreed that a room with a view of the garden would be perfect, allowing Yn to grow up surrounded by beauty.
Hoseok was the first to start organizing the room, setting up the crib and arranging soft toys in one corner. Jungkook tackled the more technical aspects, like ensuring the room was baby-proof and that all the furniture was safe. They both worked tirelessly, trying to bring their vision to life.
As they worked, they shared a few laughs and lighthearted moments, but the deeper they got into the task, the more they realized how much care and thought they were putting into it. This wasn’t just a room—it was a space where Yn would grow up, a space that would be a part of her childhood memories.
Once they had finished the room, they stood back to admire their work. The walls were painted a soft lavender, and a gentle mural of animals playing in a meadow stretched across one side. A plush rug in the shape of a cloud lay in the middle of the room, and the crib, with its soft pink sheets, stood in the center, surrounded by plush toys and blankets. The light from the window filtered in, casting a warm, welcoming glow over the room.
"She’s going to love this," Hoseok said, his voice full of satisfaction as he looked around the room. "This is where she’s going to make so many memories."
Jungkook nodded, a soft smile tugging at his lips. "Yeah, I think this will be perfect for her. We did good, Hyung."
Just then, Yoongi walked by the door, his eyes scanning the room as he caught a glimpse of the two of them standing there, both looking proud of their work. "So, you two actually did something productive for once?" Yoongi’s voice was as cold and sarcastic as ever, but there was a hint of approval in his eyes as he took in the sight of the room.
Hoseok beamed at him, clearly satisfied with their work. "You know, Yoongi, not everything is about being cold and serious. Sometimes you need a little warmth in life. And look, we’ve created a little haven for Yn."
Yoongi’s gaze softened as he glanced at the crib, his eyes lingering on the soft colors and the comforting atmosphere they had created. For a moment, he stood in silence, his usual tough demeanor faltering ever so slightly. "I guess it’s not bad," he muttered, his voice quieter than usual. "She’ll be happy here."
Hoseok and Jungkook exchanged a satisfied look, knowing that the work they’d done would make Yn’s time in the mansion even more special. They had created more than just a room—they had created a space full of love, safety, and warmth for the little one who had already captured their hearts.
And as they stood there, looking at the room they’d crafted, they couldn’t help but feel that it wasn’t just a room for Yn—it was a place where they all could come together as a family, to love and protect the one person who had brought them all even closer than before.
