A/n: I told y'all I'd be back with a couple more chapters.

What we have here is Sam's pov. It's her retelling the events from the moment she met Y/n, up to the killings. And this all happens before the original storyline for DLMD.

But I must remind you all, the events year wise have changed a lot compared to the actual movie story line. I tweaked the timeline a bit so it would fit the storyline for DLMD. If you see something that doesn't make sense, then that's why.

So kick back and relax. And enjoy.~

I met Y/n Freeman when I was in the middle of my senior year. She was still in 7th grade when her sister started hanging out with mine. I was also still heavy into the drug scene but Y/n's kind smile and gentle touch helped me back then. In a way it saved me.

I remember it perfectly. After a Friday night, maybe Saturday I wasn't sure because I was high out of my mind. I remember finding a random house. Stumbling the streets of Woodsboro, I barely could keep my eyes open. But somehow I managed to climb up a two story house without getting hurt. It was beyond me. But luck was on my side when I found the window I had stopped at, opened. I had climbed in only to stumble off the edge and land on my side with a dull thud.

"Shhhh." I shushed as if someone else was there with me.

"Uh...h-hello?" A meek voice said from the darkness of the room.

That's when I look up from my spot on the floor and see a young 13 year old.

"Shhhh. They'll be mad if you tell them." I whispered.

She looked at me, clearly confused. I had picked myself up off the floor and sat on my knees while looking at her with a dopey grin.

"W-Why are you in my room?" She was sitting on her bed with a pillow against her chest.

"Because it looked nice to fall into." I say. My voice sounded dreamy. "What's uh...*hiccup*... your name?"

She stared at me, apprehensively, so I remembered getting up and walking over to her bed. I was heavy with my walks since I was drunk and high, so I fell onto her mattress and then wiggled myself up until I lay at her side.

"I'm Samantha Carpenter." I say it with a slight slur before hiccuping again.

I watch her eyes light up and then she smiles softly at me. Such a charming smile.

"Oh! You're Tara Carpenter's older sister. Aren't you?"

Hearing my little sister's name should have caused me grief but because I was high off my ass I didn't care. I felt nothing but pride over it.

"Yep! That's me."

"Well, I'm Y/n. Y/n Freeman."

I look up at her and smile my own smile. "You're Amber Freeman's twin sister."

While my eyes had gotten bright from the mere mention of my baby sister. Y/n's grew dark and sadden. Something told me she didn't look up to her sister like Tara did with me.

"Yeah..." She sounded unsure as she hugged the pillow. "...yeah that's me."

Had I been sober I would have asked her about it but the comfort of her bed and the warmth of her blankets were my downfall. I fell asleep within minutes of her answering me.
