An adult fairytale of...
A week or 2 after they moved in I started to notice little things, like their flat is very brightly lit from about 4 pm , and stays lit till dawn ( when it seems to be closed up tight the rest of the day ) .....the are mostly active at night. The dogs are on watch ALL the time ....they bark at me when I go out , and they watch me closely as I walk by their fence, my husband thinks it's because I'm a sticky beak and an always watching them, trying to catch a glimpse , thing is he doesn't see or hear many things that happen in this neighbourhood , or the creatures that exist around him , HE doesn't hold with such nonsense . The other thing that is a bit odd is the huge flat screen tv on the wall, it's alway on at night and I can see it from my window ....but it's not like a regular tv it's more like a weird huge computer screen , with images constantly flashing and changing , downloading info....and a some static , hubby says it probably the dodgey aerial connection ....."stop being such a nosy Nelly ." He'd say ( and go back to his slot machine game on his computer) , shaking his head at my silliness.

Also they have erected a huge pool( or jacuzzi) on such a small balcony , to want one isn't strange but to put one in such a small space is odd. The most curious thing of all is the man that was pushing the wooden cart when they moved in , I hear the wheels of the cart coming up the walkway at least twice a week, .... I mean how much more furniture could they possibly have , so leaves me wondering what is he delivering ?!( or taking away ) I don't think the crate man is the actual resident as he always leaves with his crate , watching him come and go and push the crate it seems just as heavy when he leaves as when he arrives . It's just plain odd , I mean it all seems a bit sinister .

On another note the garden creatures seem to be on edge too , they are less worried about me seeing them as they are the new neighbours . The rats and mice scurry off faster and make a wide berth around the new peoples apartment . The gnomes and other little people that live in the dark corners of my garden have retreated even further back into the shadows, which leaves me even more curious as to who or what these new people are .
