Chapter 16-Hope Not

He walked out anger blazing in his eyes; he placed his hand on the fence which caused the blood flow through his hands.

He was burning with jealousy and anger when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

He turned around to find a doctor.

Doctor: You are also here to meet Jennie?

V: What's wrong with her doctor??

Doctor: she has been burning with fever...

I will be back to check her once more... she is not yet conscious more over she is not responding medicines.

V: what are you saying doctor...How is she now??

Doctor: If she doesn't respond to the treatment, we have to shift her to the hospital.

V ran back in the house...he ran like a maniac towards her room. Jungkook who was in the hall witnessed all this.

V entered and sat next to her holding her hand.

Jungkook went behind him but stood at the door... wanting to see what will he do.

V held her hands and felt her skin burning with temperature.

V: Oh god Jen Jen.. You are burning.

Open your eyes Jennie...please open your eyes. He placed an urgent kiss on her forehead.

She felt his touch on her forehead, She felt him near him... the images of the time they spent together...

Their first meet, the slap, the bet, their dance, their love making, he getting worried for her...all the images ran through her mind and it stopped at his pale face when he saw her with Kookie...She saw him going away from her...

She jerked up calling out for him...her hand in midair trying to reach him.

He held her hands moving closer to her, he cupped her face.

V: I am here Jen Jen. I am here.

Jennie threw herself on him hugging him tight. He held her tighter digging his face in her neck.

J: I love you. I love you so much.

An instant smile crept on his face when he heard that word from her. Till now whenever she said it he felt guilty about it thinking he does not love her.

But today, these words proved as soothers to his heart.

V: I am sorry, I left you alone there.

Jennie was still scared of losing him and held him tight. He felt her shivering and kept quiet, he just held her in his embrace giving her time to cool down.

After some time he felt her even breathing which indicated she was asleep.

He slowly placed her on the bed and sat their holding her hand.

After sometime he raised his eyes to find the same man standing in front leaning at the door.

He walked in towards them. V placed a kiss on Jennie's forehead and walked towards him.

Jeon Jungkook...he forwarded his hands.

V folded his hand on his chest and glared at Jungkook's hand and then him.

Jungkook moved back his hand and smiled at him.

V: Close your mouth before I break your teeth.

JK: What else you can accept from a play boy n manner less jerk.

V: You don't really want me to show you what can this jerk do?

JK: I very well know people like you...but I am warning you stay away from MY Mandu.

V held his collar and was ready to beat him up.

JK: I am her fiancé and we are getting married soon.

V: I don't trust you. You are lying. She loves me.

JK: I know she loves you... it doesn't matter.

V: You can't take her away from me.

JK: She was never with you.

V: I will kill you, if you dare to take her away from me.

Jungkook removed his hands from his collar and pushed him back.

JK: She is engaged to me and you can't do anything about it and I won't free her to go to you.

V: you..

JK: Trust me ... She will choose me over you whenever she has to make a choice.

V: She won't she is mine...do you get it??

JK: That's my point... you feel to have a right on her as you have on all other girls. You will lose interest in her very soon.

So just leave her...what you will do later. I am asking you to do it earlier. Simple as that.

V: How dare you??

JK: Oh c'mon dude...we all know you are not a one woman kind. So stop acting.

V was boiling with anger, but he kept quiet. He was not able to get a word what Jungkook was saying. He was just thinking about one thing... that Jennie belongs to him no matter what.

Jungkook saw him and removed his wallet and showed him a picture which made him go angrier.

It was picture of him and Jennie exchanging rings. He saw that photo and went numb again he forgot what happened a few hours ago.

Before Jungkook could say anything else...he walked out of the house.

His bad side was more powerful against the softer Tae...who loved...no probably cared for her. But way to go his anger won't let him see things properly.

Jungkook went back in the hall and sat on the couch thinking deeply.

JK: Jennie, I had promised to let you go if you will love someone else.

But, I can't keep my promise Jen. You have to stay in this relationship... until I figure out things.

V is not the right one for you...if he was he would have stayed with you no matter what.

I can't let him damage your life. Besides I don't know what damage has he done until now?

I hope he has not hurt you Jennie...and if he has. He is in big trouble.

Jungkook's phone rang and he answered the call.

JK: yes, I am back and Jennie is with me. He is not here. Don't worry he won't be able to harm her.

He ended the conversation.

I know you were trying to play along Jennie..but I have sensed it you have fallen for him you love him.

But he is still playing...I am not sure. Maybe he is and Maybe he is not.

The night passed but it carries it's confusions, pain frustration along with the sun rising.

Jennie woke up due to rays falling on her face...She slowly opened her eyes to find her room empty.

Her fear of losing him was back...
