Kamaya"Ready to go to grammy's house?Come on mommy's baby." I held Infinity's hand as I walked her into the living room. I handed her, her pink little purse and she put her little lip gloss in it and then she zipped it up. "You're such a big girl. Give mommy some kissies?" I said, pouting out my lips.
"Mommy loves kissies." she clapped her hands and kissed my cheek.
"Babe you ready?" Dylan asked entered the living room.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Infinity clapped.
He kneeled down in front of her, starting to play and tickle her. I smiled and got up from the couch to grab my keys. "Yeah, Let's go." I said, opening the door. Dylan picked up a very giggling Infinity and followed me to the car.
He strapped her up in her car seat and I got into the passenger seat. I put my seatbelt on and pulled my phone out. It was 10:48am on a Tuesday morning and this was our usual routine.
"You look really good today." he said with his left hand on the steering wheel, right hand on my thigh.
"Thank you babe. I'm really tired." I said yawning.
"Well you off today, don't worry about picking Infinity up after yo classes, just go straight home she can stay with my ma this weekend." he said rubbing my thigh.
"A whole weekend to myself?" I sighed in shocked.
"You deserve it. But Im off Saturday, I was thinking maybe we can have a date night or something." he smiled at me as we pulled in front of his moms house.
"I'd like that babe." I smiled back, getting out of the car. Dylan unfastened Infinity out of her car seat and scooped her up. He took her into his moms house and I trailed behind.
Grammy Blackwell was sitting on the couch, drinking a cup of coffee. "There go my babies." she said, getting up.
"Hey momma." Dylan said handing Infinity to me.
I placed her on her feet.
"Morning ma." I greeted his mom.
"Hey suga pie." she smiled at me.
I knelt down in front of Infinity, "you tired baby?" She slowly nodded her head. "Mommy loves you, have fun and I'll pick you up Sunday." I said, kissing her soft cheek. She hugged my neck and said, "Love you Mommy!" in her tiny voice.
"Don't you love Daddy?" Dylan said, looking down at us.
"Love you too daddy." She replied hugging his leg. I stood up and laughed, she so was adorable.
She walked towards the couch and sat down.
"Bye baby." I said, walking towards the door blowing her a kiss.
She looked at the tv and then at me and started waving.
"Bye ma. Love you." I heard Dylan say to his mom.
"Bye babies, yall take care now. Ya hear me?" she said, sitting on the couch next to Infinity.
"Bye." I smiled, taking another look at my baby, I turned around opening the door and I walked to the car. I heard Dylan's footsteps approaching me.
He grabbed my waist, mid step and kissed my cheek. "You love daddy?"
I giggled and pulled away, continuing to walk to the car. I got in and put my seatbelt on. He started the engine, reached out for my hand. I placed my little hand in his large hand and we drove off.
Our relationship has never been better. I completely trust him again, it took time but our relationship is repaired. That's why I'm ready to call this man my husband. I'm not gonna lie and say I don't feel some type of way about Raemesha giving Dylan his first son, a junior at that. But what can I do? Just accept it and move on. I'm not sure if it's because of Infinity but I'm just a lot happier and at peace with everything, almost.
