Nawab woke up first. He opened his eyes and looked toward the curtain to see that it was still dark outside. He then looked down and smiled at his wife sleeping on his chest.
He kissed the top of Uruvi's head before tightly wrapping his arms around her waist. Nawab had an urge to get out of bed and start his day like normal, but he remembered his promises to his wife.
Nawab wanted to change and be more open to her, and they needed to spend time together to do that.
He wanted to start by telling Uruvi everything about his past and answering any questions she may have for him.
He has believed in actions over words his entire life, but if his wife wants words then he will try that as well.
Nawab was so lost in his thoughts that he subconsciously tightened his grip around Uruvi's waist, unknowingly waking her up.
Uruvi kept her eyes closed and smiled as she remembered how wonderful their lovemaking was last night. She was about to move her hand to where her husband slept when she realized she had fallen asleep on his chest.
Uruvi moved in his arms, wanting to get up. She peered down between their bodies and blushed as she realized they were both still naked.
Uruvi reasoned that it was still early morning; if it was late, Nawab would have been out of bed by now. She tucked her face into his chest once more and opted to close her eyes and enjoy her husband's warmth and comfort before he got busy.
Uruvi smiled to herself and mused about Nawab's words as they returned from the cliff. Her husband's willingness to improve himself for her was the most pleasing sentiment she had ever experienced.
Maybe last night was different too—more meaningful, pure, and precious. Not that every other time they had made love wasn't that it was, but last night she felt like she truly connected with not just his body but also his soul.
Her Nawab wasn't perfect, neither was she, but that was the beauty of their love. An imperfectly perfect relationship, with ups and downs, but hopefully they can deal with everything with each other in mind now.
When Nawab breathed out a sigh of relief, Uruvi realized he was awake as well. They both chose to remain silent and not acknowledge that they were both awake because they wanted to continue basking in each other's warmth.
Nawab started softly rubbing Uruvi's lower back, and her surprise at his tenderness caused her to lift her head and peer at his face.
His messy hair and sparkling green eyes had her breath hitched in her throat, and she couldn't take her attention away.
Nawab attempts to read Uruvi's thoughts while she stares at him but is unable to do so.
Uruvi eventually averted her gaze, but not on purpose, but because she winced in pain from a shooting ache in her chest.
"What's wrong?" Nawab questioned, worriedly caressing her back.
Uruvi looked down at her breasts, where the discomfort was coming from, and reasoned that it could be from sleeping on her stomach all night.
Her eyes widened as she considered the possibility that the Nawab might be hurting because of her weight on him.
Uruvi attempted to slide off of Nawab, but he grabbed her arm. "What's the matter?" he repeated once more.
Uruvi bit her lip awkwardly, she knew her husband wasn't going to give up and she would have to answer him eventually.
"It hurts here from lying down all night on my tummy," Uruvi said, pointing to her breasts with her free hand. I'm sorry for causing you pain too..."
