Danganronpa: Chaotic Hope and Peaceful Despair

Prologue: Shadowed Hearts and Shadowed Minds

???: "...?"

???: "A- ... yo- ... Alri-...?"

???: "... What?"

Shuu opened his eyes slowly as the voice of a concerned stranger awoke him from his sleep. As his eyes opened fully he saw that he was in a classroom but he was not alone. Standing in front of his desk was a man who looked to be the same age as he was.

???: "I wanted to know if you were alright. I'm not entirely sure what's going on but the others are searching to see if there are others here."

Shuu: "I'll be alright, it's strange to have woken up in a classroom without having been there before, but stranger things have happened." He paused for a moment before looking at the other male with a raised brow. "Did you say that there were others in this classroom besides us?"

The blonde nodded slightly before taking a breath.
???: "Yes there was a woman with long red hair and a young man with glasses and white hair. They seemed to not get along with each other..." He paused for a moment before taking a deep breath. "I didn't catch there names but I won't be as rude as the others. My name is Lyndon Ravenblood I'm the Ultimate Horror Author, I hope that we can get along."

Shuu: "... Neither of those sound familiar but I guess their our classmates. A Horror Author, well it is a pleasure to meet you. The name is Shuu Tsukiyama and I am the Ultimate Soccer Player. I do believe that I have read a few of your books, your characters fears and pain stood out to me. It was almost as if you were writing from experience."

Lyndon: "Yeah... they were all based on events that occurred in my actual life. I've watched a few of your matches before you were truly a star on the field. It is an honor to be in the same class as you."

Tsukiyama chuckled softly in response to him before glancing towards the classroom door for a moment.
Shuu: "Shall we go see if we can catch up with our fellow classmates?" A faint hum escaped him as he spoke.

Lyndon nodded slightly before opening the classroom door and motioned for Tsukiyama to go ahead. As the pair left the classroom Shuu noticed a brown haired young who looked to be half asleep standing just outside of a classroom just a little further down the hallway. He looked up for a moment and let out a soft yawn before slumping up against the wall and falling asleep.

Shuu: 'Another Classmate? He must not fully be awake yet. Maybe we'll be able to speak with him later.'

As they began to walk down the hallway towards a large set of double doors the doors burst open as a tall white haired man wearing almost all purple was pushed through them by a pale, short woman with long black hair wearing a knee length dress with music notes near the bottom hem and around the sleeves.
???: "Come on Dicey... we don't want to be late to the opening ceremony!"

The taller man glared down at her for a moment before taking a breath.
???: "Stop calling me that." He huffed back before noticing the two males in front of them.

Lyndon glanced at Shuu for a moment before taking a step back as the pair started towards them.

Shuu: 'Opening Ceremony... oh right that was supposed to be happening in the main hall.'

???: "When Sally or any of the Casino Crew call you that you seem fine with it though." The woman replied before she too noticed the pair in front of them. "Greetings, you wouldn't happen to be new students here to would you?"

Lyndon: "That we are miss. My name is Lyndon Ravenblood, it's a pleasure to meet you both."

???: "You seem to have a good head on your shoulders kid. It's nice to meet ya too. My name is Melody! I'm the Ultimate Violinist, maybe after the opening ceremony I can play you fellas a song."
