Today was one of my scheduled days in the host club but I had to drop off some of the play designs off with Kyoshi so I'm running a little late. Going by the yelling in the host club room I missed something important.
When I walk in I see Mori holding honey down as girls squeal. "YES! That's what it was missing! it's... it's ... Moe!" Renge happily says.
"Mori... Is it a cavity?" Tamaki asks. "Yeah" He answers. Tamaki declairs that there will be no more sweets in the club room till honey gets better. Everyone looks like they feel bad for Honey especially when Mori takes his cake but theres one member who looks pleased.
"Kyoya?" I say as I walk over. "What is it M/n?" He asks "Are you a sadist?" I randomly say without thinking. I didn't realize it till Kyoya looks over at mem "No Wait! Not like that! I'm not asking for myself or anything like that, I just noticed that you seem pleased with honey's misfortune " I quickly ramble. "Do you think I'm a sadist?" Kyoya says with a small smirk, clearly enjoying my embarrassed state.
"Uhm.... Hey look Haruhi" I say before going over to her. "Oh hey M/n, your finally here" She says. "Yeah, so what's going on?" I ask. "Not much... I know it's gonna be a tough time for Honey though" She says while look over at him as he looks miserable. I grab something from my bag as I walk over to him. Mm
"Hey honey senpai, I heard what happened and I'm sorry" I say as I sit beside him. "how am I supposed to live without sweets" He pouts while looking up at me with sad puppy dog eyes. "I'm sure it'll be okay, just try to keep being the Sweet little Honey senpai that we know" I try to smile reassuringly as I tie a little medical wrap around his head to help ease his pain. "Okay M/n... I'll try" He says with a small unconvincing smile.
Since the next few days there isn't much going on with my club I've been spending it in the host club trying to help out. Of course Kyoya keeps messing with me with his evil humor.
"I think I understand now" I say as I walk over to him. "Understand what exactly" He asks while looking in his black book. "Just like always with you ... It's about finances. You don't enjoy honey senpais pain, you do however like the money your saving on not buying the sweets" I tell him. "honestly I'm surprised it took you this long to figure it out" He says. "But since you brought it up, Yes. We are able to save a bunch on the cake money" He adds while closing his book.
We look over to the other hosts and see honey walking towards the cupboard. Before I can say something Kyoya says "No need to worry, we emptied out all the sweets". "I must admit, even for the financial stuff... You still seem to be enjoying this a little much" I tell him. "Maybe". Before anything else can be said We see Honey flip Mori. "You Idiot! A little bit isn't gonna hurt me! Your such a hard head! That's it! I hate you! I hate you Takashi!" Honey yells while crying and running out. Before I can follow Kyoya stops me. "Let Tamaki handle it" He says
"Mori senpai... Did you want Honey to do that?" I ask.
"Why would he do that" Hikaru asks. "It makes no sense, that would be like the end of the world for Mori senpai" Kaoru adds. "Maybe he was trying to punish himself" Haruhi says. "We're right .. aren't we Mori senpai.." I ask. "Yeah... You are. This is my fault. Two times before nap time I forgot to make him brush his teeth" He answers.
"That's not really your responsibility" Hikaru says. "he should know better" Kaoru adds. "But if he needs fake teeth when he is older it'll be my fault"Mori says. "that's not gonna happen" The twins say. "Wow, what a pessimist" Haruhi says.
"I wouldn't be able to live with myself if he hadn't thrown me down" Mori says while looking down. "Cause he felt at fault, Mori Senpai wanted some sort of punishment from Honey Senpai to make up for his mistake" Kyoya says as I realize his hand is still on my shoulder. "Well it makes for a nice story and all" "but it's just a cavity" Hikaru and Kaoru say. But before anything else can be said Honey comes running back in hugging Mori.
"That seems resolved now" Kyoya says moving his hand off my shoulder. "You knew the whole time... Didn't you Kyoya" I ask. "it was easy to see" he answers. "If you know them maybe" I reply annoyed. Even so ... You figured it out eventually" He says. "your right" I smile. "It almost makes me feel like I belong here".
A few days later I'm back in the club and it seems Honey is back to normal with his pile of sweets near him while looking happy. However there is one member not looking happy that Honeys cavity is gone.
"I see the bills are back" I smile as I sit in front of Kyoya again as he has a calculator and a pile of receipts. "You seem happy" he says with a glare. "Yep everything is back to normal, Honey has his sweets and your.... Well you" I say. "I'm me?" he asks. "Yep, back to your seemingly miserable self" I smile. "Who's the sadist now" he gives a slight smirk. "Wait no! It's not like that!" I exclaim while flailing my arms as he chuckles... It's gonna be a long day.
The next chapters will be out of line, but that's cause I have an idea for them
