Not long later, Lorraine came out side and saw me sitting on the porch. She sat next to me.

Lorraine: You alright, sweetheart?

Ingrid: Yeah, I just didn't feel comfortable in that room or anywhere in this house. I could feel something watching me so I had to go outside

Lorraine: C'mon, let's go look around this backyard

She took my hand and we started walking. We walked closer to the lake when I felt someone following us. I turned around and saw Ed coming over but when I looked up I saw a woman who have been hung. Swinging on the tree. I flet light headed and I started to feel like I wa gonna faint. Before I could fall Lorraine catched me and Ed came running over.

Ed: I knew it was a bad idea to take her on this case

Lorraine: Let's just get her inside

Ed and Lorraine guided me back into the house. They sat me on the stair case. Lorraine sat next to me and Ed kneeling in front of us.

Ingrid: What was that?

Lorraine: Did you see it too?

Ed: See what too?

I nodded at Lorraine and I started getting scared.

Ingrid: I also saw a dark entity behind the girls when we walked and I never knew I could see that before

I started to freak out abit when Lorraine kissed my head and hugged me tightly. I pulled away and faced them both.

Ingrid: I wish I didn't have these annoying ability's, they even keep me up at night and it's annoying

Ed: Ingrid, you gifts are a gift from god and he gave those abilities for a reason

I sighed and smiled at him. We walked back to the kitchen and sat in front of Carolyn and Rodger.

Rodger: We bought it at auction from the bank, so, you know, we never knew who lived here

Ed: Well, Lorraine, Ingrid and I both feel that what your house needs is a cleansing...an exorcism

Rodger: What, exorcism? I thought that was–I thought that was somethin' that you do to people

Lorraine: No, not necessarily, no

Carolyn faces Rodger.

Carolyn: We have to get outta here

Ed: I'm afraid that's not gonna help, Lorraine saw somethin', which–go ahead, hon

Lorraine: I've been seeing the dark entity that haunts your house and your land, I saw it first when I came through your door and it was latched to your back

She let that sink in before continuing.

Lorraine: My daughter and I saw it again with the girls when we walked into the living room

Ingrid: And it doesn't matter where you go, this dark entity has latched itself to your family and it's feeding off you

Carolyn: Even if we leave?

Ed: Sometimes when you get haunted, it's like steppin' on gum, you take it with you

Lorraine: Look, I gotta tell you, you have a lot of spirits in here but this is the one that I'm most worried about because it is so hateful

Rodger: Okay, so what do we do? Can we call a priest?

Ed: I wish it were taht easy

Ingrid: Performing an exorcism is an archaic procedure, require years of training and even then, we have seen it go horribly wrong

I guess actually going to their lectures at the university paid off after all.

Ed: But before we even get that far, the church has to authorize it first, it means we gotta investigate, gather evidence and provide proof and that's the hard part

They lead us out the front door and we walked out of it.

Ingrid: Have your children been baptized?

Rodger: Uh, no, we never got around to that, we're not really a churchgoing family

Ed: Well, you may want to rethink that, our presence here could make things worse

Carolyn: Why?

Ed: Because we're a threat and whatever you're dealing with here isn't gonna like us

Ingrid: So far it hasn't done anything violent and that's a good sign

Ed: So we're gonna have our guy do some homework on the property, though, to see what we're up against
