Secrets (Kakashi x Reader)

Bells

-Reader POV-

"Kashi, we're late." I walked up to the other Sensei, who was sulking over Obito's stone. He didn't look up, he kept his head down. I leaned against him, resting my head on the side of his shoulder. He wrapped his arm round me. It felt weird, being so close to him, but he needed comfort, someone to stand by him. He hasn't had anyone in ten years.

"Okay, let's go." We turned from the stone, beginning our walk to the training grounds. He didn't remove his arm, but I didn't mind.

"Kaka-Sensei, you guys are late!" Naruto yelled. "You told us to be here at ten. It's almost two!"

"Oh, I'm sorry. We were walking here and this old lady had dropped all of her groceries. We couldn't just leave her there so we decided to help." Kakashi said, coming up with a dumb excuse.

"It took you four hours?" Sakura asked.

"Drop it." I said. They immediately stopped talking about it. "Today, we are going to be taking a... test." I said, letting Kakashi take over.

He held up two small bells and handed me one.

"Lunch will... well dinner, will be at four. If anyone tries to eat before then, won't. Anyways, your goal is to get a bell. If you can't, you get to go back to the academy for a year. I'm sure Iruka misses one of you. If you do get one, you pass. You have until dinner. I suggest you go hide and get ready and prepare your attacks. Start now." All three ran off into the woods, leaving Kakashi and I alone. He pulled out Icha Icha, sitting down next to a tree. I sat next to him, desperately trying to see the page. He leaned over, giving me the ability to read it.

"Ahhhh!" Naruto came running out of the woods, kunai in hand. I sighed, he couldn't be that stupid could he? I grabbed a fallen acorn and tossed it at the shadow clone.

"You have a good technique. Bunshin no Jitsu, that's not Genin level." I continued reading as five more ran out. Kakashi sighed, standing up. He easily fended off all of them, but the real Naruto dropped from the sky. He kicked Kakashi in the face, his foot instantly becoming wet. Kakashi's water clone collapsed.

"Eh? Oh? Ih?" Naruto looked around, seeing me sitting by a tree. He smiled and waved, instantly his cheeks turned bright red. I laughed and pointed behind him. He turned around, seeing a Kakashi. At that moment, Sasuke came up behind me, placing a kunai to my neck. He reached for the bell hanging from my waist line. I smiled behind my mask. I instantly turned, and he pushed the kunai into my neck, only to hear the sound of metal hitting metal. I grabbed his arm, flipping him around. I pulled his leg out from under him and sat on his back. I looked over, seeing Naruto hanging upside down by his foot from a tree. He was yelling something less than not vulgar. Kakashi and I chakra-ported away, going somewhere else. He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. I sat down, it was already three.

"Bye." He chakra-ported away. I knew where he went, most don't know how to but I can sense where he went by feeling his chakra that was left behind when he ported away. He only went to where my little brother and the and the young girl where hiding. My little brother. I have a little brother. He doesn't know about me. He doesn't know that his perfect parents so easily left behind a newly born child. I sighed, knowing Naruto was hiding close by, watching me. I decided to have a little fun with him. As a kunai barreled it's way to my head, I pretended I fell asleep, purposely collapsing onto the ground. Naruto came out, slowly at first, then just not caring. He approached and bent down to grab the bell that was attached to the waist of my pants. I quickly grabbed his arm, flipping him over me. Before he landed, I flicked the middle of his chest, sending him into a tree. I laughed, allowing a kunai to hit my water clone. I tapped Sakura on he shoulder. She turned around, scared as hell. I tapped her forehead and she flew back. Kakashi appeared behind me.
