BIG do. Do apply for positions both inside and outside your squadron. Apply for positions of all kinds, line staff, support staff and in some rare cases, even executive staff. You never know what will happen if you apply. Sure there's always the possibility of being rejected, but you may get accepted! Even if it is a support staff position, if you show excellence and good work ethics, then more than likely you will get a bigger position in the future.
