You and Ann headed down to the activity fair getting to know eachother better asking each other questions. Eventually you reached the quad where the activity fair was happening and Ann saw one of her friends, said bye to you and left. You wondered around aimlessly until you saw a group of boys singing. You saw another walk over too them, he looked excited to meet them, but one of they boys who looked to be the leader of the group was being rude to him. This made you mad but you didn't want to get involved in any trouble as it was only your first day, you just made a mental note to stay away from him.
You spent some time walking around looking at the activities they were alright but nothing really stood out to you. A girl shoved a letter towards you catching you off guard.
"Would you like to join the Barden Bella's?" she asked kind of desperately
"Well what is it?" you asked distressed she seemed to be panicking as if you joining was extremely important.
"It's an A capella group theres four on campus. Us, the barden bellas, The BU harmonics, they really like madonna, The high notes, their name describes them pretty well" she pointed to each group when she pointed to the high notes you could see what she meant, they were all... high, "Finally there's... them." she spat that last word out as if it was hard for her to say.
She pointed at the group of boys who had been extremely mean earlier. This explained her manner of speaking.
"I didn't know A cappella was such a big thing!" you lightly chuckled, "I might audition though I was in choir when I was younger"
"That's the spirit!" she replied cheerily, "I'm Chloe"
"I'm y/n, I'll see you at the auditions then?"
"I sure hope so"
