Pitch Perfect x reader

Chapter 1

~First Day of Barden University~

You open the door of the car you've been sat in for the past hour and take a step out, your first step into the place you'll spend the next three years of your life. It was overwhelming. You'd moved away from home to a knew place that you felt out of place. Suddenly a short girl with mousy hair approched you wearing a green shirt with the "Barden University" logo on.

"What dorm hall are you in?" she asked cheerily.

"Umm Baker Hall I think?" you replied unsure if that was correct.

She started to list directions to you at a pace you didn't think was humanly possible. You weren't listening though. You were too busy taking in your surroundings. It was a beautiful buliding.

Eventually the girl handed you a map and a whistle, "This is your map and rape whistle. Only blow it if it's actually happening!"

She said that as if it should be obvious. Well it was but obviously not for others as it must have been a thing before. You thanked her snd headed in the vague direction of your dorm hoping you'd find it eventually.

It didn't take too long as all the halls had massive signs with the names on them. As soon as you enter your dorm, you see another girl. Her name was Ann according too what you'd been told.

"Hi" you said politely waving

"Hii" she says her back still facing you she seems to be hanging up some posters, "You're y/n right?"

"That's me!"you said in a cheery voice starting to make your side of the room feel more roomy.

"Oh y/n I was wondering, you wanna walk down to the activity fair with me in a bit?" she asks.

You thought for a moment. It would be nice to get to know your dormmate better and the activity fair would be a good way of meeting new people.

"Sure!" you said eventually, this year was gonna be good.

(A/n Imma try not do loads of a/n cause I find them annoying but I just wanted to ask what yall think so far imma try make them longer but that just felt like a good place to leave the book)
