It's 10 am here in galaxsis and I'm so ready for my birthday. All the staff that work in the castle continue to wish me a happy birthday as I skip through the halls "happy birthday your highness" says my favorite butler James as he bows at me. "Thank you sir James" I say in an attempted British accent as I curtsy and skip away some more. "Y/N" I hear my mom say as she has her arms open towards me signaling that she wants a hug. "Happy birthday" says my mom as she embraces me deeply. "Thanks mom" I say being squished with her holding me so tight.
"I have so many plans today and whatever you think I got you for your birthday think bigger and better" said my mom after letting me go. I was so excited for what she had for me (being that I gave her my gift list three months in advance), I just knew she got me some great thing this year as she did every year.
"You grew too fast" said my mom and I just rolled my eyes. She's been saying that since I was 5 so I expect it now.
"Birthday girl" I hear my best friend Lena say in a sing-song tone as she approaches me."thanks lee" is all I get out before she pulls in a tight hug. "I've been getting a lot of tight hugs today" I say a little shocked at all the sudden affection.
"Well you deserve it cause your the birthday girl" she says and I just smile and nod.
TIME SKIP TO LATER THAT NIGHT
"SURPRISE" screamed everyone at me. "Huh I didn't know you guys were throwing me a party" I said in a sarcastic tone. Truth is I knew but I just faked being surprised for their satisfaction. "You ready to celebrate Alien style" said by oldest brother leo. "Yes but we're not aliens" I said a little annoyed. I hated being called an alien but it was okay for now.
We danced, sang, and had so much fun. Until my mom when up to the mic and tapped on it for people's attention. "And now everyone I would like to announce my my grand special gift for my daughter." Said my mom while my stomach was filled with anticipation. "King Arthur of s'daria has agreed to ending the brutal war as long as my daughter marries hi son the prince" my mom said with a big smile on her face. My heart dropped I can't believe it. My mom's special gift to me was my hand given to some stranger HELL NO. What was she thinking I wasn't shocked anymore I was angry, angry and hurt, angry and hurt and betrayed. Everyone was cheering while I just found out that my world was about come to an end AND FOR WHAT A STUPID WAR. NO I will NOT let this happen. I ran up to the stage grabbed my moms arms and pulled her to the side. "WHAT are you doing" I said to my mom confused and angrily. "I'm ending the war with you as our savior" she said while waving at a whole bunch of people not even sparing me a glance. "Mom I don't want to get married not right now i just turned 18 this is crazy". "I understand that but this isn't about you this is about the safety and peace of galaxsis" she said giving me a stern look. "But..." I started to say but she cut me off. "You will get married to him after your graduation and you will be happy about it end of discussion" she said turning away not giving me a chance to say my piece.
